My feelings towards the Glazers ownership of United are ambivalent, so I want to be fair....yes the acquisition of United put United in debt but in my limited knowledge on the matter it seems it hasn't really affected the supporters as ticket prices to OT are still cheaper than other clubs in the Prem. How this debt is going to affect our ability to sign players remains to be seen, but so far there hasn't been anything to suggest there's a signing freeze. If their ownership of the club hasn't had an overall negative effect why dislike them so much? Owners are owners and they have to worry about the clubs finances and make decisions accordingly and thus far we haven't seen anything that would indicate they don't want United to be a successful club. Please correct me if I'm wrong...

I should have ended it with: "and at least the Glazers didn't tighten the purse strings too much because we got a brand new website!" This way it would have been relevant...  |
