lol, yeh, but i was just using the sterotypical example......... most english supporters prefer effort and committment than technique i mean england is one olf the few countires where players get applauded when they get sent off! lol That's a great point and why I liked the English style of play when I was first exposed to it. Fancy play is nice and all, sure tricks are fun to watch but I too prefer effort and very importantly commitment. I have simple taste when it comes to football: I just want to see a team give it their all to win for themselves and their supporters...just that raw determination is enough for me, if someone can do fancy tricks with the ball great but it doesn't matter much to me.

To be fair... I think the problem United have with attracting certain players has got nothing to do with if we are a big club or not, but it's how much we intend to pay. Lets face it, a lot of the lads at... lets say Chelsea... are just overpaid, and they only went there for the money. That is why their success will never last, no bloody passion.

How much we intend to pay... and the fact we've done nothing in Europe for a few years. That's what it comes down to, as far as I'm concerned Silje.
