sort of agree with you but from a slightly different angle
i think if we go for proven youth now we wont need to spend the cash in the next few years, which is why i want torres (and would go for mascherano even tho that seems unlikely)
but i dont think the glazers are thinking that they can just spend a bit now and get away with it for 5-10 uears because football is different to the franchise situation they have there

I'm among the optimists I hope you know but I did say I thought if united dont make signings we would struggle to keep pace with chelski as after all it was a major acheivement to come 2nd last year so to expect them to do it again this year without ruud (and fortune  ) would be too much to ask, then again I'm sure we will make signings it's just a case of being patient.  |

I want Gill and come out and tell the fans (who pay his salary keep the club running) if we have money for transfer if so ho wmuch.. no need to give names of whom we are after or what./ I need a figure from him.. simple as that... until then I doubt we will be buying any world class players....... it seems SAf knows we aint buying anyone and using the tactics of how Scholes, Ole etc are ready for next season, they may be but they are not as young and fresh as they were, injury, time and age has got to them...

because from what I have seen/read what SAF is saying - one concludes we dont have a transfer kitty at all.. and we are holding out for 15 million for Ruud so we can buy Carrick - so basically if we dont sell Ruud we have no money, if we sell Ruud for 15 million (thats what we want) we have money for transfers.. that how I see it.. I am looking at all angles and perspectives.. and signs are not looking good...

Apparently we should 25 mill a season for transfers unless somebody like Rooney came up. There's no way that Gill or anyone is going to let on about how much we have to spend as it would totally eliminate our bargaining power. It might be well and good for the likes of the chavs and their pimp daddy's deep pockets, but the rest of us have to negotiate. Whether we get signings or not we can only support the team that takes the field and all parties concerned want what's best for the club, so I rest easy knowing that. Now if Ellis was our owner then that would be another matter...  |

worried.. when do we start to worry, 4 hours before our first game against Fulham... at the moment we are very thin in the midfield dept. thats where the game is won or lost.. people like oshea and fletcher are not United quality, geez they would struggle in Sunderland's team... we seem to pussy foot around, with SAF saying our squad is good enough, well its is not.. Chelsea proved it last season when we got thrashed by them at Stamford Bridge... that was a painful lost and it hurt alot.. since then what has happened.. well Chelsea have got Svchencko and Ballack.. who the fuck do we have, no one yet we are losing players like Ruud.... I am worrying now, others can worry later on, but right now it aint looking good for the coming season.. and with signs of comments from Fergie saying Smith will be a forward, Ole is back , Scholes is back.. well it looks like we are buying no one.. whay the fuck are we even pissing about this GK from WBA.. fakin hell we need midfielders not a fooking GK.... I completely agree. It's getting late and still no signings, and we have VDS and Howard as GK's, so why the fuck is fergie pissing about with West Brom, and everyone thinks once Ruud is gone we'll just sign torres, yeah fuckin right. And tottenham won't give us carrick the fuckin yids, so at I hope Fergie at least gets hargreaves for Ruud if and when he leaves. If we don't get new faces soon let's face it, we won't be able to compete with chelsea as much as it pains me to say that. it's true. |

Its because Howards on loan, as will Foster be, for experience and VDS will retire in a year or so giving him Kuszcack (spelling) Howard and Foster, all with premiership experience as 1,2 and 3.
When VDS retires, lets just say we dont sign Kusz, we will have Howard and Foster, one of them will have been on loan and one will not have played atall due to being VDS number 2 this year, this way we will have 3 keepers all experienced enough to play, and all with years left in them as keepers, tbh its a good move on Fergie part, also lets you know we do have transfer funds as he is looking to add epth to every area not just the midfield. TBH i would be more worried if we were only trying to sign Carrick, it would show we have little money and can only make one signing
PS it isnt late!! For crying out loud it isnt late into the transfer summer game, its just beginning
