Well I'm glad to hear that Ruud showed up for training, because while you're still a United player you should show up. I feel that by showing up he shows respect for the club who he played so well for, and there's no sense in leaving on bad terms....a quality player shows his value both on the pitch and off of it.

He showed he loved the club when he was dropped by his celebrations with the fans during some of the games most notably the Carling Cup Final.
He does love the club and I believe him on that one I just think he feels it's come to a time where he and the club should be seperated!
