The England ladies team isn’t bad at all. I think MOX was referring to Rachel Yankey; she is a great player, also Katie Chapman, very fierce ‘get stuck in’ lady. Anita Asante isn’t a bad player either. They’re a good side; I’ve watched them on more than a few occasions, for the football of course and nothing else.

In last time I saw England ladies team about 2 years ago! I like some players. But not long ago was women tournament! I don's saw them! But I saw russian and they loose 4:0 to Germany!

womens football is boring and i doubt more funding would improve that really. its mostly about conference standard but slightly less physical.

Of course there are good female footballers out there, quite a few of them are American, as in my opinion they're overall the best female team out there (well if I said it was Norway I might come off as biased). England's not good enough though, got some good young girls, there are some good teams such as Fulham and Arsenal, but all in all you're not going to find enough English girls passionate enough about playing the game to make it as big as it is in a few other countries.
