Quite young, I think we nabbed him off MK Dons or Wimbledon which ever they were then. He's 22, I think!

Yeah he looked bloody good today. Can cross with both feet as well!
I looked at the Antwerp web site at the end of the season and in the match reports section he got MOM just about every game, got player of the season for them as well i think.

he's come on leaps and bounds since going to Antwerp. i thought he was really good tonight, good pace, crossing and direct. The one really good quality he has for a winger is that he kept attacking his man. Even when he lost the ball he came straight back at him. Very, very impressive. That was virtually Celtics first team and the kids hammered them! Now if only we could sign a midfielder.......

It was great to hear about how United work. Maintaining formations, style, tactics from youth to reserve to first so that players can just be demoted/promoted and slot in with ease.

When exactly did Lee Martin join us from MK Dons/Wimbledon? Because i thought he joined when he was 16. And the five commentator was saying we've had him for 5 years, but some1 said he's just turned 19.
So can any1 clear it up?

I'd liked to have seen the young center mids a bit more this pre-season like Jones, he's only made sub appearances mainly, after the reviews i've heard from Holland he deserves a little more. Promising performance from Martin, didn't waste anything and have some great crosses.

December 2003 we signed him, although if I am wrong, then I apologize. But I’m sure I’m correct.

Yeah, i'm almost sure it isn't FIVE years we've had him. It has to be 3 years tops. I think we got him around the same time as Rossi if i'm right.

Is Lee Martin related to the 'original' Lee Martin? Seems funny having a young player of today bearing the same name as a former player.
