To me Licha, Shaw, Mainoo, Garnacho and Hojlund are the most important players. If they can stay consistently fit I think there is a much better chance of seeing some kind of proper style and team identity emerging under Erik. Clearly we also need to improve squad depth as well as there is a huge drop off in quality when any of the above are injured. Licha is essential to playing from the back and is our best central defender. Shaw helps to unleash Rashford on the left and left back has been a massive issue for us this season. Mainoo has helped to ease Casemiro and Eriksen's decline and has given us a degree of constancy in midfield. Garnacho is the only wide player producing this season and is a matchwinner. Antony and Sancho are a joke and Rashford's been poor this season. Hojlund gives us a physical presence upfront which is essential to the way Erik wants to play and will eventually help us wean off reliance on counter attacking and was on fire before his injury and we've seen the drop off with Rashford deputizing. Spot on. Our strongest squad we've seen this year that shows what Erik is actually trying to accomplish tactics wise imo is: Onana Dalot Varane Liche Shaw Casemiro/McT Mainoo Bruno Rashford Hojlund Nacho I would be interested to see how many times this year we've had this line up this year. I'm willing to bet it's 10 or less matches.

The physicians at this club HAVE to be fired at the end of the year... this is ridiculous.
They misinformed ETH about the health of our LB's which led to them shipping off everyone and canceling the loaned LB leaving us with a RB and CB to play that position. Now Casemiro, cleared him to play after complaining calf issue and he still had discomfort so now is going to Spain to have it looked at. On top of every other long last issue with our always injured players.

They would like the make up and diversity of the staff to more closely reflect the make up and diversity of the squad's dressing room. " Iam glad all that diversity is helping to solve the injury crisis.

I get the need to understand the individual need of each players based on their background but this is just fucking stupid..... easy fix, do you know what the hell you are actually doing in relation to sports medicine at a high level of competition? Yes, ok hired. No, ok fuck off.

Seeing Licha is heading back to England early to work on his fitness to be ready for Brentford. Massively positive!

Seeing Slabhead now could be out after getting injured in the Brazil Match....If Licha makes his return then that will help soften that blow because we are running thin on healthy CB's

Does nobody rate the lad? He's been on the bench but i think only started once match this season with a few late game subs... idk if he is good enough or Erik is slowly trying to bring him in or what. Is Lindelof injured because right now I think it's Varane, Kambwala, and potentially Licha the only healthy CB's unless I am missing someone.

Talk that Rashford has been playing through injury for the last month. What is wrong with our medical staff? If he's injured let him rest and hope that he comes back fresh and focused.

Agreed, it's not like we're relying on him for his consistent goals output. We're also stacked with players in his position (except when Hojlund is injured and we have no CF).

CB is one of the very hardest positions for a kid to be thrown into a top team. They usually get a run at full back (as Willy had) so hopefully he can now be trusted. He’s a fine prospect.

Varane out for the season. Concussion complaints. Got a link? Everything seems to be about a L'Equipe interview he did last week that's just been published.
