How long will giggs be out? hOPEFULLY he will be ready for the chavs game Toshack also said that this shouldn't cause him any problems on returning to Manchester, and they only took him off as a precaution, so hopefully he shouldn't be missing any matches.

if you click on the link at the very start off this tread it will tell you giggs is expected to be return to training on saturday 18th which mean he will probably be doubtful for saturday but should be back for celtic

yes i agree... celtic will be important an then the real big one but i think for the mean time we need to win every game.....we need to have a good lead because chelsea will come storming and i don't fancy having to get a result against benfica to stay in the CL
worst case
Sheff Utd L Celtic L Chelsea L
would put us 3 points behind in the league and having to play benfica in the last game to stay in CL
BEST
Sheff Utd W Celtic W Chelsea W
Six points clear in the leauge and quailfied in first place for the CL
i like the second one what do you think......

I really hope they're not up to risk Neville again far too early for a bloody halftime! O'Shea will be enough to kick theball away every now and then!

Sir Alex Ferguson fears Gary Neville may require surgery to solve his calf troubles.
The Manchester United captain has been suffering from the problem for several months, with his right calf initially causing the complaint.
But in recent weeks the left calf has become a source of irritation and he is being carefully monitored by the United medical staff.
Ferguson is aware of the need to keep a close check on the full back's fitness, with Neville due to feature in Tuesday's UEFA Champions League clash with Celtic.
He came through a training session on Monday suffering no ill-effects from Saturday's game at Sheffield United.
But Ferguson knows the problem could quickly flare up again and he is facing a dilemma about whether his skipper will need an operation.
"He came through and trained this morning," said Ferguson on Sky Sports News.
"It's been a concern for us obviously and we're holding our breath hoping it doesn't really happen again, but waiting for the next one to come along.
"If it does happen again, we're going to have to do something about it.
"We're going to have to take a long-term view of it because if this keeps going on and on and on, we could end up round about New Year and we could lose him for a long period.
"If he carries on fine, then we get the bonus, but we need to assess it and try to get to the reason why it's happening this build up of fluid.
"If it was just the one calf we would be saying to ourselves we are going to have to take our time, but when it gets in the left calf it suggests it's a bit different." --------

fuck... i saw it coming... calf injuries are a bloody plague! We've got a natioalteam player in Switzerland, who has a rupture of a muscle fiber in the calf sometimes twice a season, it just keeps recurring! I hope that doesn't happen to Nev.

United have been boosted by the news that Ji-sung Park and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are both ready to resume full training. The pair will rejoin their team-mates this week having overcome ankle and hamstring injuries respectively. Park has been out of action since damaging ankle ligaments in the 1-0 win over Tottenham back in September. Solskjaer, meanwhile, pulled his hamstring in the final seconds of United's Champions League defeat in Copenhagen a month ago. Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed the duo are now fit to return and he's delighted to see them back. "Ji-sung and Ole will begin training this week which is great news for us," the manager told Manchester United Radio. "With the hectic December period coming up it's great we'll have those players available." Meanwhile, Sir Alex has revealed that Alan Smith is currently undertaking a special training programme to boost his fitness. "Alan is coming along fine," he insisted. "We've changed his fitness programme with the first team; he's now doing special training to aid his speed. "He's responding well and is enjoying it. He realises that there is a lot of hard work involved but he's putting everything into it." --------------------------------------- Good timing There's more from Ole on the official site..

Marvellous news and couldn't come at a better time. Tough couple of weeks coming up but we should have some real options now.

#yahoo# Great news indeed! Glad to see Park because we need to have him available instead of Richardson and Ole's been great this season.
