Match over, United beat Macclesfield two goals to one.
Another nice little kickabout for the kids, and allowing Rooney, Van Der Sar and Rio to make their first appearance of the season. RIo seriously needs to cut his hair or something, or I'm worried it might affect his performance!

Gibson and Rossi impressed me tonight, shame Rossi couldn't score to top it off really. Gibson play well through out and looked really comfortable dictating from midfield I thought.

The little man just can’t find that goal, can he? That was a nice, easy kick about for the lads. And yeah the commentary was awful. I’m dead excited about the Amsterdam tournament.

Rossi never scored but he was man of the match, for me!... Rooney looked good as did Rio and his hair.

Shame about Davey Jones. According to Sky Sports its a suspected broken arm. Looked more like a shoulder injury to me but I wish him all the best.

I didn't catch the game last night, how did Gibson do? Check Gibson out tonight, if he doesn't make it in a Red shirt Id be very, very, very suprised  I'm excited by the lineup btw. I'll be happy to see Jones (starting, yay!), Martin, Gibson etc again and the Rooney-Rossi partnership will be interesting. |
