Impressed by Lee Martin, didn't waste many opportunities he had and had 2 pin point crosses on people's heads. Had heard some people criticising his end product, apart from one shot it looked good today.

Red Yank, mate it's time to criticise the Celtic and have one of my SPL Rants.
Well, I know that our youngsters are world wide known as some of the best around. But, C'mon Celtic had their first team out tonight and with their season starting in three days surely the Champions of Scotland could beat our Reserves/Youth? Nope, it proves my point that the SPL is average at best and makes teams like Celtic look good. Celtic have nothing to offer the Champions League, nothing whatsoever. Lennon tonight got run ragged by Fletcher. Aidan McGeady, who? Big things? Mate, he was piss poor. He wouldn't get in our youth side which goes to show the gulf in class between our youth production and theirs.
As I said before and will say again: KAISER CHIEFS > CELTIC

Entertaining game. Wow i thought we had problems, compared to Celtic fans we must be living the dream right now.

You've named Martin and Gibson, but that is only naming a few. Because all the youngsters who have came in and gone out on the tour and have took part tonight against Celtic have done brilliantly.
Foster has shown again what a quality keeper he is, and it seems that Phil Bardsley picking up a knock, allowing Simpson to step in in the second game was a blessing in disguise. I've noticed alot of people have been singing Simpson's praises, and i'm glad he was given the chance against the Chiefs.
Looking forward to seeing the youngsters again this weekend, and then carrying on into the season in the Carling Cup.

Nice to see that's there talented young players in the squad...i thought Foster was impressive between the sticks..he was quite vocal also..making sure Wes didn't fall asleep!
Quite a funny moment on the hour mark when United won a corner, and the ball went into the empty seating behind the goal...this lone steward was running up and down the steps trying to check behind all these empty seats for the ball...much to the amusement of the fans in that corner of the ground...and the United bench saw this steward on the big screen scrambling about for the ball...Ferguson and Co. thought it was very funny!

Lol man, I heard that was pretty much Celtic's first team, and our reserve team, virtually, did them. Great to see Scholesy get two. He looked almost embarrassed to put that sitter away at the end lol. Richardson was great (HOW close was his free kick) and I'm generally very impressed with all of them. We'll never have a year like the "you'll never win anything with kids" year, but there seemed to be 2 or 3 future first teamers in the game today, as well as several other good squad players. Great for us..... s***** for Strachan lol.

I watched the match and i think its fair to say Celtic werent extatcly steaming into tackles or anything and i think thats down to the fact they start in 3 days. They did beat Everton the other day so i'll stick by my opinion that they're good enough to avoid premiership relegation... and PLEASE dont start talking about Fletcher like he's a real person im sure had Stan Petrov been playing Fletcher wouldn't of been up to much. Great performance by our reserves though that was the first full match ive seen of our friendly's and im glad they lived up to the hype

Well even if Celtic didn't want to over exert themselves I'm sure they could have avoided a 3-0 thumping. Unfortunately for the SPL they just have two big fish in a very small pond.
