it was the porto players fault he just tried to play rooney instead of the ball, if he'd jumped and tried to win the header his face wouldn't have been anywhere near rooneys hand, damn dodgy refs

Ole upfront alone, not sure if he can handle that yet.. The ref does know its a friendly.. right?

It was never in a million years a red card, ever. I’d say that even if I wasn’t a united fan. I don’t know who the referee is, but he clearly knows nothing. He jumped to head the ball and his arm caught a Porto player in the face (who obviously went down as if he’d been shot)… Referee didn’t have a word or nothing, just issued a straight red. Alex was furious.
Yet previously Ole had been elbowed in the face, yet the Porto player got told ‘no more’. Sheer idiocy on behalf of the referee, who clearly wants his name printed in the paper, so he can be paid that extra dollar to feed his and his wife’s cocaine addiction.
Some people just bewilder me.

Possible 3 match ban for rooney in the premiership if the ref files a report according to Sky

Rooney thought he was going to get a free kick according to sky sports 2.... Also Rio has a slight ankle injury which he can't sprint on, hence not playing.

Carrick has played well, his passing has been good, and he could be our new set piece taker on the right. Overall i thought going forward we did well although Ole has struggled to get into the game so far.

We are bound to score goals, as Porto are playing three at the back. I think Park has had a cracking first half.

I don’t like this hoofing the ball up to the lone striker business, but I guess there isn’t much you can do being a man short.
