Sprained ankle apparently, hopefully it's not too bad but he couldn't put much weight on it when hobbling off. Ah well good to see United doing well even when things go tits up. This tourney was a disaster yet we are still going home with the trophy Evans, Martin, Rossi and the rest of the youngsters were great tonight and even Fletcher did well once he settled down. Good to see that we have some top talent in the reserve and youth ranks.

Lady luck never seems to be on our side in regards to injuries.

Not good about Carrick, so hopefully our other signing is a midfielder.
Martin, Simpson, Rossi, Evans, it's looking good for the future. Still not convinced on Miller.

Well we've said we're prepared to let Miller go so even if we don't sell him I can see him going out on loan again, either way we won't be seeing him play for us this year, he was a bit unlucky with the pen but he was too careless when in possession and generally just looked out of depth.
What is it with united and injuries pre-season we can't seem to start the season with a fully fit squad (far bloody from it) and when its vital we get a strong start this season it looks like we're gonna be fighting an uphill battle. The younger players have shown a lot of potential in these pre-season games but its frustrating that our first team squad have had little preparation for the new season with time running short, even these little niggly injuries are stopping players getting to match fitness and consequently may be short of the pace when the season kicks off. Fingers crossed that Ronny and Saha stay injury free when they come back next week, along with the rest of the team.

The injury situation isnt that bad in my opinion.
Carrick is out for 2-3 weeks, Ferdinand, O'shea, Heinze, Vidic and Nev are recovering from knocks and will be fit for the start of the season. Saha, Silvestre and Ronaldo only started pre-season on monday but are expected to feature in the game against oxford on tuesday.

Injured as it stands: Vidic, Heinzé, Neville, Ferdinand, O'Shea & Carrick Possible suspensions: Rooney & Scholes
What a cunt!.. It looks though as if the Scholes & Rooney will escape further punishment and let's hope so too. Rio will make the Sevilla game which is good news as should Neville, Sheasy & Heinzé.
Which leaves Carrick and Vidic who will definitely miss the start of the season, Carrick is likely to return for the home game versus, yes you guessed it, Tottenham ;D and I have no info on when Vida will be back but it was a serious injury he picked up in Germany.

For **** sake. I cant believe this, our one and noly signing in an otherwise barren transfer window and he goes and gets crocked.
I actually cannot believe this!!

Giggs looked on top form. With injuries occurring, we really need to the example, skill and presence of someone as experienced as Ryan. Glad he got the goal

Luck really isn't on our side is it?! I'm gutted! Was really looking forward to seeing Carrick perform for us and now I'm going to have to wait 3 weeks
