As per watching the game on streams, is it just me or do the listings all seem to kind of go down when the games start, but eventually I find the one with the game (usually one of the ESPN channels, not sure which one because it just puts boxes afterwards because I am guessing it can't show Chinese on my computer...but anyway I digress )

I don't know if they're going to televise many United matches on FSC or ESPN this year because so far I haven't seen any listed on the programming schedule. I heard that even the PPV matches are gone since there was some deal struck with Setanta so our cable company isn't getting the rights which really sucks because it's hard for me to get the pub now.


I am usually quite happy when they play on Saturday at 3 p.m. English time as they usually show that on TV here, but unfortunately it's Spurs/Everton this week.

Well the new tv deal hasn't been that bad for me here, I still get 3 games live on Saturday (except the late game on Saturday is 15 minutes tape delayed). However on Sunday, the late game has moved to Fox Sports World Canada instead of on a regular cable. And the early Sunday game is going to be on what they call "yet to be launched pay-tv channel". But if that means pay per view, I don't see myself paying $20 per game unless maybe if they are playing Chelsea or Arsenal. But it's the same thing as you guys, FSC and Setanta just sell it to Canadian channels.

Hopefully it shouldn't be too hard to find on the streams as last week the newcastle and arsenal games were both top of the pile so united shouldn't be any different. Are we always on a stream channel or is it a bit hit and miss?

Well, PPStream I find impossible to navigate as even the menus and everything are in Chinese. I use TVAnts and I usually find it within 10 minutes or so after kick-off, but you can't really tell before kick-off as you don't know if it's the right channel. Now if those sites with the listings stayed up... ;D

Mate a little tip on PPStream is to type "live" in the search bar above the channels it usually brings the one up which has the live footy.

You're without RTE in Belfast?...That's unusual...but anyway...the game is being broadcast on RTE2 today from 2:40.

RTE is broadcast around the whole island of Ireland...mate..(i'm being serious here)...get a steel or metal coathanger put it into the cable slot at the back of the television set and you'll be able to tune it in.

tried something similar to that before didn't work. I have RTE on NTL but they block the football now.
