It should prove a tougher test this time around with them brining in a few new faces. I can see us winning but not by 3 goals to nothing. (Watch it be 4 nil, ha)

Yep its on Sky. I'll be watching in Smoo Cave Hotel with all the Celtic supporters. I wonder how many times I'll be listening to the Fields of Athenri ( spelling?) and you'll never walk alone.... I'll reckon it'll 2 fully rousing versions of Athen Righ ( with 3 half arsed goes as bonus ) and one sad git singing you'll never walk alone. ;D If we get an early goal I think 3-0 #devilbanana# UNITED Envy all you guys who can make it for this one.....enjoy!

FERGIE EXPECTS TRIO TO BE FIT Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson expects Park Ji-sung, Edwin van der Saar and Paul Scholes to be fit for the club's UEFA Champions League clash with Celtic. The Scottish tactician revealed all three has slight concerns ahead of the Bhoys tie, although they are winning their battles to be available at Old Trafford. Ferguson stated Park collected a knock during United's 1-0 win over Tottenham on Saturday and that he was undergoing a scan as a precautionary measure. Former England international midfielder Scholes sustained a dead leg during training on Sunday while Dutch keeper van der Saar is suffering from a stomach upset. Ferguson is keeping his fingers crossed for the trio as he is hoping to field Scholes alongside Wayne Rooney, who has been out of action since being sent off against Porto in pre-season. "Ji-sung got a knock in the game on Saturday. He's away for a scan today (Tuesday), hopefully he'll be alright," said Ferguson. "Paul got a knock in training on Sunday. He did a bit of running. It's just a dead leg. I'm confident he'll be fit for tomorrow. "Edwin's got a stomach upset. He didn't train today. Hopefully they'll all be alright. We have no other problems. "If Paul's right then he and Wayne Rooney will start. We've got to get Rooney and Scholes back playing. "We have a massive game on Sunday (against Arsenal). So therefore it makes it easy for me to make changes for tomorrow, in that respect. "I think if you look at our European campaign last year I think it was a poor one. The players won't let the fans down this year. "It's our first game of the European cup. Our home record over the years in fairness has been fantastic. We want that to continue."

Out of those three I really want Scholesy to be fit. Yeah of course all of them but if I had to choose one, with Ronaldo out it'd have to be Scholesy.
I reckon all three will make it though, VDS only has the shits so he should just eat a banana and be ready.

The game against Celtic will be the very very close to our first 11 lining up together, can't wait.
...................VDS.....................
G. Nev........Rio..........Brown.....Evra
Ronaldo.....Scholes..Carrick...Giggs
............Rooney....Saha...................
Just Heinze and arguably Vidic, but Brown is alot of peoples first choice and Evra has started to improve a bit so it's very near a full strength team.

That's IF Fergie puts out a full strength side. Rooney and Scholes will play there's no doubt about that but, after hearing him say we have options because of the Arsenal game at the weekend, I can see him resting one or two key plays, Giggs springs to mind because of his age. Though I'd play him!

Oh it says he's suspended, why is he suspended not for anything he did at the world cup, it can't be, and he didn't get sent off pre-season. It wasn't for his "up yours" to the Benfica fans was it?

I'd play Solskjaer or Fletcher on the right, no matter how much this game is built up Celtic are mediocre opponents and we have no excuses if we get anything other than a win tomorrow. We must win, we will win.
