Sir Alex Ferguson is relishing this weekend's Super Sunday clash between Manchester United and Chelsea - a match you can see live on Sky Sports 1.
Ferguson is in upbeat mood ahead of the clash at Old Trafford as his team go into the game with a three-point lead over the champions at the top of the table.
"You cant hide the fact it is a fantastic prospect of a match in front of us," he told Sky Sports News.
"It is a great opportunity for us.
"I don't think it is lost on us the fact that in the last two years Chelsea have had the fantastic position of being nine, ten points ahead of us in the last two years and that is very difficult to peg back, we did out best last year in terms of a late run - but it was not quick enough.
"We have got out of the blocks this time and for the first time we are in front and we have the prospect of going six points ahead and them chasing us rather than us chasing them - so it should be a fantastic game, some great players on the pitch and two great sides."
Ferguson insists that Chelsea have improved their squad this season.
"I think they have added three very good players," he said.
"Ballack, Shevchenko and Ashley Cole - I think that is three great additions, no question.
"We have added Michael Carrick, have Paul Scholes back, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - although he won't be available Sunday, so I think it is two strong squads - maybe they have a bit more experience internationally with Shevchenko and Ballack, we are emerging." --------
Andy Gray – ‘’ the pressure is on Chelsea''. And Sky Sports predict 2 - 2.

As soon as you get your hands on the shirt...burn it, wipe your arse with it or piss on it...or all of them - that is if we lose of course

United v Chelsea: Head to headCHALLENGERS and champions collide at Old Trafford on Sunday as early Barclays Premiership leaders Manchester United take on holders Chelsea. Here is a comparison of the two teams. FORM Advertisement your story continues below United's sparkling start to the season can be attributed to various factors. Sir Alex Ferguson's side have suffered fewer injury problems so far this term while his older players appear revitalised with the likes of Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes enjoying a summer off rather than appearing at the World Cup. Chelsea have made a typically efficient if unspectacular start to the season, grinding out points to remain favourites to retain their title. With the focus apparently on Champions League matters it could be argued their league form has suffered as a result. PREVIOUS MEETINGS United hold 54 league wins over Chelsea with 36 defeats and 38 draws. Last season they recorded a win apiece, Chelsea strolling to a 3-0 victory - with Wayne Rooney infamously breaking a metatarsal bone - having lost 1-0 at Old Trafford earlier in the season. MANAGERS United have earned increasing respect for their football so far this season and Ferguson's more affable demeanour has also won points in the popularity stakes. The Scot has found a winning blend of youth and experience and despite ageing stars such as Scholes, Giggs, Gary Neville and Edwin Van der Sar, he has opted for consistency over squad rotation so far. Chelsea's lack of sparkle could be down to a new system being employed by Jose Mourinho this season. The successful 4-3-3 formation has been dispensed with as the Portuguese has paired Didier Drogba and Andriy Shevchenko up front, which has resulted in a lack of width going forward. United v Chelsea: Key battlesEARLY Barclays Premiership pacesetters Manchester United host defending champions Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday in the biggest game of the domestic season so far. Check out the key battles ahead of the game. RIO FERDINAND V ANDRIY SHEVCHENKO Advertisement your story continues below While the battle of brute force will be contested by Nemanja Vidic and Didier Drogba, the more cultured engagement will see England centre-half Ferdinand pitting his wits against Shevchenko. Ferdinand, currently enjoying an impressive run of form, has had difficult periods during his time at Old Trafford and in Shevchenko he faces a world-class player struggling to settle. The encounter will see a psychological and physical battle between two of the Premier League's finest players. PAUL SCHOLES V CLAUDE MAKELELE Scholes' spectacular return to form has been integral in United's surprisingly sprightly start to the season. The veteran creative midfielder is arguably playing as well as at any time in his career, rejuvenated in a side displaying the perfect combination of youth and experience. Makelele forms part of Chelsea's backbone and is the most vaunted 'unsung' hero in the Premiership. However, he may find it difficult getting a hold on the game when up against United's high-tempo attack. WAYNE ROONEY V JOHN TERRY Rooney's return to form in recent weeks has bolstered United's strong start to the season. The explosive talent of the 21-year-old perfectly complements the Red Devils' style and will cause problems for the Chelsea defence. His England team-mate Terry cannot be expected to nullify Rooney's threat throughout the game but will be charged with marshalling the defence and at least limiting his impact.

2-0 United, with O'Shea getting a goal in there. Always happens in the big matches doesn't it? Fletch against Chelski, Forlan's brace against the scousers... and the least expected scorer would be O'Shite this time.
I GET GLOATING RIGHTS FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON IF HE SCORES!
And Carrick will have a scorcher of a game, I can feel it!!

I don't care what the scoreline is, who scores and how well the team or any individual plays... just as long as we win.
