Carrick to Larsson, Larsson to Giggsy, Giggsy to Rooney... quality lead up for the first. And the 2nd? lol. He's been trying to chip the keeper all season like that, but screwing it up. But that was just perfection. What a touch to take it past Sol for what could have been his hatrick.
Great result. Should have been 4-0, not 2-1, but what can you do eh? lol.

I'm just glad that's over. I'm concerned about the holes in the defence, and the ref and linesman today were very poor. Anyways... Weeeeembeeeerleeeeeeey, weeeeeeembeeeerleeeey, we're going to Wembley! hopefully

Giggsy was great today, he looked 10 years younger, flew past everyone, brilliant. Glenn Johnson gets 8/10 for me, he had a brilliant performance for United, if you get me looked like he'd been paid off to play crap. Park was rubbish in Pourtsmouth's half, Evra looked a different class backwards and forwards and it was fairly funny seeing Hanson trying to suck up to Mclaren on the BBC Shame to hear Saha has a knee injury, and where the hell has Alan Smith gone?

Good result .. i got a bit edgy everytime pompey attacked from the left on evra ... but glen johnson definetely gave us a hand in playing great for us ( as u said suffix ) ... Park has got to do something about his final touch ... he does everything well until the decisive ball ... and Rooney : No comment ........ Bring on the Gunners or the Chavs in the next round !

One of the longest leg break recoveries i've seen in football for a while, will be getting on for a year soon.. Oh, Kuszcack gets about 5/10 for me as well, aweful, really shakey, he hardly inspired confidence.

As critical as I am in defeat, as upbeat I am when we're winning! Rooney is the fucking godfather of football-entertainment. Just ban him from tracking back like a maniac and he's as dangerous in and around the box as a "Black Mamba" in your knickers!

I love Evra's endless catalogue of flicks and touches.

I am just so happy Foster had another brilliant display for Watford, he's going to be our future goalie for sure.

Saha and Ronaldo to return
Cristiano Ronaldo and Louis Saha will be back for the Reds on Wednesday as United resume Premiership duties against Watford at Old Trafford.
Both players missed the FA Cup victory over Portsmouth on Saturday, but Sir Alex Ferguson expects to have both players back in his team for the midweek match. Ronaldo was given a week’s holiday and travelled to Dubai for a rest, while Saha was injured.
"We gave Cristiano a week's holiday," Sir told MUTV. "He played in the third place play-off in the World Cup on 8 July and the boy's not had [much of] a break since.
"There were one or two signs of tiredness in his game last week so we gave him a week's holiday. He went to Dubai, he had a good rest, is back and he'll play on Wednesday against Watford.
"Louis got a wee kick in the back of the knee. It's nothing serious, just bruising, but it was too late for today so we just left him. He'll be ok for Wednesday."
The boss also revealed that he had intended to rest Wayne Rooney against Portsmouth and Watford. BUt after coming off the bench to score twice and rescue the tie, he looks like playing on Wednesday.
“For the last week we've had this plan to rest him today and on Wednesday," said Sir Alex. "But he was in such sparkling form today that it makes it difficult to leave him out. We'll give it some thought."
If those 2 are coming back, might be a good idea to rest Rooney as a sub again, we'll see..
