I'm just talking about premiership goals and I think Lampard currently holds the record at 16 (or maybe its Pires). So one more in the premiership and hes equal but he could go down in history tomorrow.

If Ronaldo gets 2 more goals he becomes the all time top scoring midfielder in the Premiership - ahead of Fat Frank. Are you sure of that? Thats quite an achievement for someone his age, he's got ages to make it happen as well, must be around about Scholes' premiership mark as well. Not the all-time top scorer! Just in one season!

Now how many of those Lampard goals have been his trademark pinball goals that deflect off of everyone (including the ballboy)....that would be an interesting statistic.

Half of his goals are deflected ! and to think people dare to compare him with Scholes

Apparently that's why he was poor in the World Cup. All the coaches from the other countries had a plan. When Lumpard shoots dive out the way or hit the deck. No deflection- no goal. #shakehead#

Preview from M.E.NWAYNE Rooney has been passed fit for United's Premiership clash with Charlton at Old Trafford. Rooney missed England's midweek defeat to Spain with a hip injury but came through training on Thursday and should be in Sir Alex Ferguson's starting XI. Goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak will also start as Edwin van der Sar has been ruled out with a broken nose. Van der Sar, who broke his nose in Sunday's win over Tottenham, insists he will be fit again to face Lille in the Champions League on February 20. But, according to Fergie, his side has been lucky on the injury front this season. "We have had terrible injury problems over the last few years," said Fergie. "It has not been easy for me to choose my team at times this season but I can take that part of the job quite well. John O'Shea (ankle) is out, while Michael Carrick (groin) and Cristiano Ronaldo (heavy cold) are both minor doubts. Charlton manager Alan Pardew will not risk striker Darren Bent in the game. The England international has recently resumed training after a knee injury but is not ready for a first team return, so Marcus Bent is expected to continue in a lone striker role. Luke Young (knee), Herman Hreidarsson (knee), Andy Reid (hamstring) and Talal El Karkouri (suspended) are also ruled out, but Pardew will hand debuts to two of his new signings, Alexandre Song and Madjid Bougherra. Charlton Athletic (from): Carson, Sankofa, Bougherra, Song, Thatcher, Rommedahl, Kishishev, Faye, Diawara, Holland, Hughes, Thomas, Hasselbaink, M Bent, Ambrose, Myhre. Manchester United (from): Kuszczak, Heaton, Neville, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Silvestre, Evra, Heinze, Ronaldo, Park, Scholes, Carrick, Giggs, Fletcher, Richardson, Rooney, Saha, Larsson, Solskjaer. Last season: United 4 Charlton 0 Key opponent: Scott Carson - Talented keeper is in for a busy afternoon Prediction: United 3 Charlton 0 - It is difficult to see past another heavy United win, especially with Charlton missing Darren Bent

I hope Tomasz can be abit more assuring this time around then he was against Portsmouth as he didn't look confident at all
Good news that Rooney is back, i hope Ronaldo is ok to play hopefully he could get a couple of goals and knock Didier 'donkey' Drogba off the top spot of the Premiership scoring table.
Carson is a very good keeper but i hope we catch him on an off day, Darren Bent not playing should mean our goal is relatively safe throughout the match.
Can't see a shock as we are playing well and Charlton are struggling down the table, home advantage will make it a comfortable win for us
Prediction: 3-0 Ronaldo,Scholes,Rooney #unitedbanner#

Apparently a paper had a look at Franks goals and a disappointingly low 13% came from deflections. Seems so much higher. I wonder if he'll manage in in La Liga next year? Anyway 3-0 with Ronnie chipping away at Fatso's record of 16 in one season. And hopefully Louis will score today too.

I can see us having a complacent first half and being a bit shit. 0-0. Then after a bit of a hairdryer a 4-0 win in the end. I hope Saha gets a start. His assist for Giggsy's goal agin Watford was incredible.

I can see Saha and Larsson in the starting line up because it would be somewhat strange to give Rooney a full 90 Minutes after missing England's misery through injury. I also hope for Carrick to get a rest to completely come over his groin injury.
