I believe the first leg is tonight guys. Cathcart is not playing as he is believed to be playing against Sheff Utd for the first team. His replacement at CB will probably be either Eckersley or Corry Evans although one of the U-16s could get called up such as Strickland or Moffatt. My bet would be Evans.

Brandy MoM. They have a decent LW apparently. With Cathcart back at OT we should murder them on Thursday. They looked knackered by the end of the match. (btw Strickland played CB if anyone's interested.)

Don't know about you guys, but this result was something I was extremely proud of. Especially it being against the dippers! Also it being our away leg gives me confidence that the lads'll do the job at OT! I'm looking forward to the second leg too! Could our youth kick-start United's trophy winning for this season on the 26th? I'm hopeful (fingers crossed)!

Watched it on sky last night, after the first 1/2 hour or so we looked the better team for me, our passing and composure was better and we just seemed to have a bit more quality than them. Their front man and winger (Putteral or something?) caused us some trouble but it was an impressive performance from our lads at anfield, Hewson's penalty was quality ;D and I liked the look of Wellbeck (sp?) too, a similar performance at OT now and we should seal the deal.

We're losing 1-0 in the second leg.

Do away goals count or would it go to extra time?
