well it certainly seems like they can get the ball in the back of the net so we should be in good shape for the start of the season. 6-0...pretty embarrassing scoreline, then again Shenzhen shouldn't feel too bad because they're in good company with Roma who we thrashed in a proper competition. ;D

6 - 0 and a couple of interesting decisions by the ref.
Good start for Nani - just what he needed. Eagles - goal of the game again
Rooney and Ronnie - did exactly what it said on the bottle.
Smith looks like he's trying to make sure we won't miss him if he leaves. Nice to see Dong run out, but only from a PR perspective - tried hard and obviously desperate to score - maybe I'll be kind and say too desperate.
Only real bad news today is Scholes going home - let's hope it's not serious.

Good result, opposition were shite though but still you beat whats in front of you. Rooney and Ronaldo have got their scoring boots on and Giggs was instrumental in most of the goals.
Shame about the Paul Scholes injury but with Nani and Eagles coming in and impressing, especially Eagles what a goal, eh?
Nani looked good, linked up well and looked like he'd been playing with the lads for ages got a goal as well so that should settle him down.
Now for Anderson and Owen to get their debuts and hopefully settle in straight away too.
Was good to watch, one sour point on this tour so far is that in free scoring games Alan Smith is yet to find the net. I know he's not started every game but still you'd think he should have got atleast one and hopefully it doesn't play on his mind because he missed a sitter today.
I'm excited about the season...hurrryyyy up!

NANI scored on his Manchester United debut in the Far East today. The £14million summer signing from Benfica struck in the first half as the Red Devils crushed Shenzhen 6-0 in Macau. And Nani celebrated his first United goal by launching himself into a double somersault that could soon be a regular sight in the Premier League. MANCHESTER UNITED IN ACTION: United cruised to victory in their latest warm-up match after taking the lead when Wayne Rooney squared to Ryan Giggs, who had an easy finish into the empty net. Rooney then sent a perfectly executed chip into the net from the edge of the area after 18 minutes. Next came Nani's strike - the Portugal winger drilled a low shot inside the left post. O’Shea belted home Ronaldo’s cut-back after half-time and two minutes later Nani showed explosive speed to burst over halfway before feeding Rooney who in turn set up Ronaldo for the fifth. And Chris Eagles added another goal to complete the rout. The sun #Wa#

Smith looked pretty terrible, hope he gets 90 minutes in the final game and gives United something to think about, because that was not a good performance.
Dong looks like he has a lot to work on, i think a lot of it was desperation to score however, as he's done it all before for Antwerp and this standard of opposition was barely as good as in Belgium, Dong needs a loan in the championship.
