and many doubted anderson from the start.
loved him at porto, love him at united even more.
and whats with it should have been 10-2 etc etc.
i mean u cant put away every chance u get. if you could do that we would win 10-0 every match or something.

As said, Anderson was fantastic. Hopefully now we'll stop getting the "United are poor away in Europe" statistic said by the commentators at any possible time.
One more win should seal us qualification. Great stuff.

I was really happy with the result but kinda pissed that Kuskak was subbed and not on of our younger players like Evans or Pique. I really wanted to see Johnny have a run for a couple minutes

I get that but for the last 10 mins i didnt understand why Kuszak was subbed on as opposed to lets say an attacking eagle who cant really hurt the game or Evans or Pique who did ok against Villa on the weekend it just seemed like a waste of sub

The Guardian (it's all over the papers today) The United manager pronounced himself "pleased with the result" but it was noteworthy that he said there was no injury to Edwin van der Sar, who was withdrawn in the second half, moments after Dynamo had scored their second. Ferguson claimed he had planned to make the change even before Ismael Bangoura drilled a 20-yard shot beyond the Dutchman. It can only be assumed that the United manager was unhappy with Van der Sar's earlier concession. Surely Fergie should have been unhappy with the fact O'Shea lost his man and gave him free header for the Goal? I hope we don't start dicking our Goalie around....

Quick footnote.............. Danny Simpson came on for the last 10 min last night and played really well (an integral part against Wigan too ). Really impressed with this young lad. He puts in some great crosses going forward and looks really solid in defence and can play on the right or the left. What more could you ask for. Anderson was immense, fantastic work rate. Man of the match. Rooney and Tevez, they are going to be a truley awesome partnership. Bloody exciting stuff. Ronaldo #worship# Rio Ferdinand tipped for top scorer in the prem Great nights football. Happy birthday to Rooney #worship#

Anderson looked class, strong, great control and most of all played quite a few killer through balls unlucky not to score really. Attacking and Defensively he looked brilliant. At least now centre midfield is not weak anymore with Scholes out its good that Anderson is beginning to settle and come into his own. Tevez and Rooney are really beginning to work together and you can see the terror they will impose for years to come. Giggs also impressed me today. I know he is quality but this year, I admit I thought he was past it but last night he was excellent I thought.
MotM goes to Anderson IMO. And does anyone know why Van Der Sar went off?
On a bad note Kiev were winning free headers and we didn't look quite right defensively, but I will pass that off as down to Vidic just coming back, no Evra or Neville for now.

Vidic wasn't his assured self by any stretch..... O'shea just back from injury too. VDS didn't look to comftable at times, but again, just back from injury. Ferdinand was a rock. I think the defence will pull togeather again pretty quickly.

Wow, just imagine when we play then at OT. We should smash them, especially if we play the whole game like we did in the first half. Good game to watch, and not really too worried about the goals conceded. Give the defence a bit of a shake up and get them back on track, would be more concerned if they were at home or during a loss tbh.
Anderson definetly MOTM IMO. Played brilliantly, and, with Scholes out for however long its supposed to be, will truely be given his chance to shine now. Great future for this young lad.

A great result and it was unfortunate I couldn't want it. From what I saw of the highlights it looked like we were on great form in terms of controlling the game and feeding the ball to the forwards, the pass for Rooney's goal was class and even though it was just a tap in the presence of mind to pass it was great as opposed to just going for the shot and cocking it up. It's nice to see United get off to such a strong start in the group stage as it provides momentum going forward and once we seal the group up we can tinker with tactics and give younger players a chance.
Well done! #clap#
