Great game. could've easily been 10 nil. Atmostsphere was really good. We were in the lower tier East stand by away fans. stood up nearly all the first half singing. 2nd half the stewards didn't even bother asking people tp sit down. lol.
What was with the Toon fans putting a shoe on their heads near the end? Funny lot. Was worried when Roonie got sulky after not getting a penalty that it wasn't going to happen. Only think that could've made the day better would have been getting seats at the Stretford End.

I was in the east stand, the stewards managed to get 90% of people around me to sit down but seconds later there was an attack, everyone stood and stayed standing And I was at the opposite side to the away fans but I think they've got a chant "shoes off if you love the toon," might have been signing that ?!

I think it maybe shirts off? LOL... Well, obviously one guy was a bit hard of hearing and assumed it was "shoes off if you love the toon"

The only thing better than smashing the Toon Fools and Ronnie's first hat-trick?
Being there in the NW Quadrant beside a raucous Stredford End to enjoy every sublime, free flowing second of it!!! The stuff we played in the second half was truly masterful, a joy to watch. Our third, Ronaldo's second was so beautiful it brought me close to tears, it was that good.
I think special mention of the atmosphere is in order, as is the reception Smudger got. I doubt that no opposition player will ever get such a roaring ovation from United fans after recieving a red card. None of the press seemed to mention that.

The best was the Cheer up Allan shearer chant, I think a couple of times during the match their were 75 thousand singing that

It was a good game to watch. It’s about time we gave somebody a battering. Coppell must be bricking it.

KEEP YOUR SMELLY SHOES ON!! #shakehead#
