Only saw the first half before having to leave for work. Looks like I got to see the better 45 minutes anyway!
No one will remember, or particularly care, about the performance if the 3 points wins us the league so no point in lamenting what could've been (a hammering, for example).
Chelsea dropping points was sweet and a rested Rooney champing at the bit to tear Loserpool apart will ignite us on Sunday.
Nail biting stuff! #unitedbanner#

Pique played well , now that Rio is a doubt .I hope Fergie plays him as a CB and Brown as a full back. He reads the game well and with Torres in hot form I think he was to play him.

Well, another 3 points in the bag; but not exactly a riveting performance (again). If we do not raise our game for Sunday, the dippers will give us a beating. O'Shea and Hargreaves as full backs does not work for me. However, Evra did need a rest I suppose. Pique did ok in the centre of defence; he may get another chance on Sunday as Rio still has a bad back. Ronaldo was our star man yet again - what a stunning free kick. They don't always come off, but when they do..... Fletcher looked lightweight in midfield; so I think we will have Hargreaves and Scholes in the middle against 'pool. Now that Saha is injured once again , the front two pick themselves. It was a workmanlike performance in the end; the team didn't seem that bothered in the second half. Ah well, onwards and upwards.

Great atmosphere from the Stretford end tonight, unfortunately I cannot say the same for the NW Quadrants which I was in, not many singing in there bar me, and from where I was I could see especially one gang of about 15 towards back of the SE Tier 2 fucking mental, they were brilliant for starting songs. Viva Ronaldo is one hell of a chant, sounded great. Anderson-son-son sound better every time I hear it!
Was great goin out the ground, me and my mate with some other randomer and his mate singing, on our own, til we finally ended up having to sing "on our own..."
BTW, I bought Red Issue today, found them alright lol, and I aint buying the programme from now on!!! "Peace breaks out at Anfield..."!

Yeah, I thought the atmosphere was excellent. Singing the viva Ronaldo song for half an hour was awesome, but I much prefer the ' he plays on the left' song. Need to get used to the Anderson one too as its the first time I have heard it live this season.
Ronaldo won us the game, yet again. It was an easy win though, and im getting worried we are relaying on Ronaldo too much. Having said that, Tevez was brilliant. Never stopped working. Louis played alright, but not brilliant and Nani's selfishness was getting on my nerves, but he was ok. All round a decent performance. Fletcher was the worst on the pitch in my opinion, but only because he didn't do anything spectacular so no real complaints there. And on to Sunday.......

A better performance. Brilliant Ronnie again; every time he had the ball in their half i fancied us to score.

Decent performance, but we couldn;t have been worse than Saturday.
Saha looked lively enough. Just needs a goal now as his approach play is there. There were a few opportunities, where if we had a keeper who was a good kicker, he could've been clean through on goal.
