Anyone notice Anderson? Save for that one great save (which wasn't for him to do in the first place), he had quite a few mistakes. Just an off-day, or? I think Anderson was brilliant, he's my favourite now anyway XD If you watch again properly, it's like SAF was using him as a defensive midfielder actually albeit very high up in scousers' area. Just look at how he play just in front of liverpool's defender's, it's like him defending against their striker, but actually it was their defenders! He also kept the ball in our possession in Liverpool's half. Do you get what i mean? my english not so good XD

I thought Anderson was excellent too. He just needs to sort out his bloody awful shooting accuracy!!
The annoying thing about the game was that Rooney didn't score any of his many chances and im starting to worry about his goal scoring situation at the moment. Having said that, he was also excellent on the day, but he needs to start delivering the goals.

Remember that Anderson is only 19 (or 20), which is very young for a central midfielder. He is very left-footed and his shooting accuracy needs work, but this will come in time.
He has twice made Gerrard and Alonso, two great midfielders apparently, look very ordinary.
With regard to Rooney, the lack of goals is a concern, but if the guy is creating goals for others then I see no problem. Perhaps he is feeling the pressure? On another day, he would have buried two of the chances against the dippers.
On a separate note, I just love that slow-mo of nani's goals celebration against the dippers - class.

But if you put it that way, he was actually brilliant
