Well we've been linked with Jermaine Defoe along with Chelsea and Liverpool so if we are interested in Defoe this means Ruud is off?! Whats your opinions on this rumour.

i'm not that big of a fan of defoe decent striker, but nothing overly special. i would prefer to see rossi in the first team than signing jermaine defoe.

I must admit I wanted him out when he was plagued with injurys but after his extremely impressive form, I hope he stays! Would love Defoe at the club. I remember when we signed Saha, it was a toss up between him and Mr Defoe himself but Fergie opted for Louis as Defoe was serving a 5 game ban for nutting someone ?? I think he'l move to Chelsea after the World Cup.

There's a lot of talk within our backroom staff, that Saha and Defoe would be the dream ticket up-front.

lol Defoe's a looser! Sorry that's a bit harsh he's ok, but not good enough for utd, i'd rather have Robbie Keane, actually I wouldn't want his little bow and arrow routine stinking up OT but Defoe's not good enough. But anyway, why would you want Saha out, he's an awesome player, how well has he done for us when he's been fit? before he got injured he scored 7 in 7 games, and since his return he's got nearly a goal in every start! ARE YOU MENTAL? And really he's still finding his feat with te team, when you see the link up play with him rooney and ronaldo it's amaizing, they'll get better Too.

do you think having a relatively young squad like we do that bringing in someone older might benefit us, Fergie doesn't usually buy anyone over 27 but if you look back at what Sheringham did for us! Maybe it's worth thinking about!

Remind me, what did Teddy do for us again? Maybe you're right, someone with a bit more experience? For now, I'm more than happy for Saha and Rooney to start, but with Saha's injuries, we need reliable, experienced backup. As good as Rossi is, I dont think he's ready to be starting week in week out for us yet. He reminds me a bit of Ole when he first joined us - shooting from wherever he picked up the ball lol. Is Louis going to the World Cup?

Defoe cannot hold down a place at Spurs; nope not good enough for us. I question the player's attitude as well.
