Slightly unreliable source but according to Sky sports news the Milan president told a kiddy outside his office shevchenko wants to leave Milan for England.. Any opinions on this? Think we could get him for Ruud? Just hoping he doesn't go to Chelsea if there's any truth in this.. Shevchenko & Ballack would be uh oh.

Hmm I don't think that's likely tbh. All the talk seems to be of Utd doing a swap deal for Torres!

straight swap with Ruud would be sweet, then we'd have what money we've got to focus on the hole in midfield. But cannot see Shevchenko coming to united, at the minute it'd be a step down for him.

Any move out of Italy for anyone currently playing in Italy wouldn't be a step down with whats come out in their media during the past week.
I would be embarrased to play in that country and want to get out of there soon as possible.

I’ve heard this all day, on Sky Sports News (breaking story) people in the pub, friends. I’d love to see him over here, to watch him play week in week out would be great. If he doesn’t come to us, then it will be Chelsea and I certainly don’t want him going there.
AC wouldn’t straight swap for Ruud, they’d want Ruud and a bit of dollar, which is fair enough.

Hmm, i remember reports from sky sports news a few weeks ago, Abramovich is friends with Shevschenko and their wives go shopping etc... might have an impact on where he goes Remember when Milan let players who have served them well go, they often let them go for minimal prices to show their thanks by letting them go where they wish..

I can't see Shevy leaving Milan, I think he'll stay with them until he retires.

Shevshenko has since called a press conference confirming he wants to play in England although no decision has been reached.
I'm guessing the decision part is when he wants to move rather than where.
