--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please no!...the guy has lot anything he had, and his presence is no longer felt. And, after all he has said about Manchester United, Keane, Neville, Ruud & Fergie; I would never accept him here at OT...the guy's a twat!

There's no way Vieira would come to United because he knows how United fans feel about him and I don't think he would do that to Arsenal. I dont think Fergie would go for him anyway, hopefully he's just using it as another distraction for Chelsea.

Still though dont you all think he would be the right person for the holding midfield role?? He has been proven in the Premiership with Arsenal and with all the problems with Juve we could get him for nothing.

Good player or not, he's a tit and I don't like him, I would boo him to the end of the world.

He’s old and his knees are crumbling, what would we want with him? Although on a more serious note, there’s more change of Alex inventing a cloning machine and making another Fletcher, so both can play in our midfield than Vieira coming to OT.

For a few years Vieira and Keane were roughly on a par but for the past few years Vieira has gone down hill.
If we sign Vieira its due to the lack of options rather than by choice, he isn't world class anymore.

There are too many cons to signing him especially since he is past his peak. Maybe Rangers will want him then he and Keano can square off all over again.

Am I missing something here - "Vieira..has refused to comment on his future". So what's the basis of the rumour exactly ? We wouldn't want him within a hundred miles of OT and he wouldn't come here in a million years. He was a huge player in his time, but that was 3-4 years ago - Arsenal did a good bit of business offloading him when they did.

Vieira has been linked with United for years. For a few years it got around that Arsenal were ready to let him go and approached United over him.
One day, maybe we would have gone there, but not now. If he'd left Arsenal at his best and come to us, that would have been hilarious. But I dont want Arsenal's rubishy sloppy seconds.

There's not a snowball's chance in hell that Vieria will go to United.

Vieira isn't the player he once was when he used to dominate midfield.
I do recall a few years ago that he chose to go to AC Milan when he could've joined United back when he was 18 or 19.
He's had his chance, I say fuck him.

Vieira's far too old. I heard well informed rumours that he changed the age on his documents when he got into France to prolong his career, he's actually 72 years old.
