From the 'Unbeatables' to the well, load of bloody bollocks. I know Sir Alex started an era at United with 'kids', but look at Arsenal. Robert Pires has gone and ok, he was on his last legs anyway. There are rumours Ashley Cole wants to leave, José 'Nev's best mate' Reyes is going back to Spain, Sol Campbell off to Turkey, Ljungberg will be sold, any I've missed? They are big names at Arsenal and I feel if they leave, although they've kept Thierry 'Big-Ego' Henry they won't challenge for any mmajor honours for another 3 years.
How do you think L'Arse will fair if they lose some/all of those players?

Those players are big names at arsenal but far from their best or most promising players, with Hleb and Rosicky in midfield along side the few they have comming through I think arsenal will be ok next season and in some places better off for losing such players:
Ashley Cole: The boy is a muppet, he's considers himself bigger than the club and there's only room for one Thierry Henry in ashburton grove or they'll have to move to a bigger stadium. He's been wanting to leave and frankly he's over-rated in my opinion, good but not the best. Plus if he gets shipped off to spain him and tweedy will break up then I'll have no shot at her.
Pires: Over the hill, stopped trying at Arsenal a season or so ago, good time for him to leave.
Campbell: Has had a poor season and you feel arsenal are a better team starting with Kolo Toure and Phillipe Senderos than with Campbell at the back and I think the arsenal fans have seen this, plus after his difficulties this year I think he'll be glad of a change.
Ljungberg: At one stage I would have said arsenal would be in trouble without him but not anymore, I reckon Eboue will move up into midfield if freddie leaves, he's had a very poor season and although he's full of running there isn't much else to his game at the minute. But i'd like him to stay just cos it's utterly hilerous when he crosses the ball into the box for the head of Henry who doesn't go for it then just glares at him like "what the hell was that? That wasn't a ball to feet! You could have hit me with that, be more careful!"
Reyes: Looked good for like 2 months like a season and a half ago, he's too young to be playing on reputation and frankly I like to see him in the arsenal line up cos u know he's not gonna do anything and it means they're playing with only 10 men (including the keeper) you need to tactically prepare for.

I think Ashley Cole is the one of the best left backs in the World...after Gabi Heinzé of course.

It isn’t all over for them. Just as it wasn’t over when Arsenal lost Adams, Wright, Seaman, Keown, Dixon, Petit, Overmars. And just as it wasn’t all over for us when we lost Cantona, Schmeichel, Stam, Cole, Yorke, Beckham, Keane etc and not to mention Giggs and Scholes won’t be around much longer.
Clubs move on, players grow old and get replaced. Ah footballs such a beautiful game.

I've got a lot of respect for Wenger, he turned the club arounf from boring 1-0 to the Arsenal to an exciting football out fit and a successful one to boot with limited resources.
He has manager to keep hold of the best player in the prem Henry and he has a number of top class youngsters developing. they might not challenge Chelsea directly next season but I see them making a strong challenge especially over the next few years.

Yeah, i think it's all over for them, Pires is gone now and i think they'll struggle to fill their new stadium.

They still have a squad that can pose a threat, and with Henry still around they'll be in contention for 4th place again...

Unbeatables lol. They didnt beat United once in that unbeaten season (but did lose to us in the FA Cup) and relied on the most blatent dive in the area I've ever seen to save their souls against Portsmouth!
Theyre done with. Henry is a fool for signing a deal with them, and they wont finish above 4th next season.

Theyre done with. Henry is a fool for signing a deal with them, and they wont finish above 4th next season. I didn't get why Henry didn't sign with Barca if the rumors of them being interested were true; he would have joined the new CL champions and would finally see the CL action he's always wanted not to mention playing with the liked of Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto'o etc. L'Arse won't even be in the CL next year and if they have as good of a season as they had this year then they can kiss CL dreams goodbye for 07/08 and be grateful to be playing the in the Intertoto Cup. A friend of mine is a gooner (nice guy otherwise.. ) and he's always going on about how much better they are than United blah blah blah. We all know the truth and the record books don't lie...we've won more titles and European competitions than them PERIOD. "United and L'arse are in a rebuilding stage but L'arse are by far the better team." - Well if 4th place is better than 2nd and automatic qualification for the CL then we've all been mistaken. "Henry is the best player in the world and we have him" - hooray! Now what about the other 10? Perhaps if Henry would have been keeper instead of Lehman than maybe he wouldn't have grabbed Eto'o's foot who knows. He may be the best at scoring goals, and he is a talent, but can't say the same about his decision making. I could go on...but then I'd be ranting.. Sorry guys (and gals) it's just that I run into lots of gooners and rent boys in NYC and it's always the same song...."we're better than United blah blah blah" and nothing to back it up with except an aging Frenchman and a Russian with deep pockets.
