Personally, although you have to put up with a couple stupid comments, I always listen to R5Live rather than BBC, I feel intense hatred for Lawrenson

I used to think that Lawrenson wasn't that bad, but especially in the coverage of this world cup he has been shocking. What was that all about blaming Robinson for Terry's mistake! He always has to come out with some lame-arsed joke or pun as well.

Green has few things to redeem him if any, the bloke is a twat of the highest order.

Well it is a lose lose situation really, either listening to Motson or Lawreson, neither who which seem to have a clue about football and then they will get hung up on ONE thing that has happened after 2-3minutes which they will talk about for the remainder of the match, OR listen to Green spending most of the match saying that Beckham shouldn't be playing and that football should be like hockey (if England is the team playing that is). If football was like hockey it wouldn't be football you twat.

I love the half time analysis though, just watching Ian Wright being obviously bored every time Alan Hansen opens his stupid gob.

There was actually a feature on this on the news a little earlier this morning, they claimed the commentary teams have to take one side over the other after a reasonable amount of time, if they decide England are playing bad, you'll know it and be hearing it for the entire game...

If they decide its a good day you will also know that.. which is why you'll rarely hear them changing their minds, and on the rare occasion they do change their minds its more likely to be the commentary from the tv rather than radio as you can actually see for yourself whats happening, therefore they don't look like a complete dick

In terms of taking it too far, look no further than Green.
