This World Cup confirmed my beliefs that Eric Crouch is actually not a footballer. I cannot believe he plays in the prem; he doesn't belong in any footballing league. He was England's worst performer by far! Theo Walcott could have done a better job....Once again Sven fcuks up the england team....

Seeing as Eric Crouch is an American footballer, as in NFL, I assume we're talking about Peter Crouch, unless there's some joke that's gone completely over my head.
Anyways, Peter Crouch has had a good few matches both in the run up to the world cup and in the world cup itself, then dropped when Rooney came back. I hate to admit this, but the scouse don't deserve to be criticized as he played better than a lot of other players.
Walcott shouldn't have come, or we should hsve brought five strikers. But doesn't matter thinking about the what ifs as the cup is over and erikson is gone.

Yep hard to admit but 'he of the circus' played better than most players, particularly for the cause when he came on yesterday. Missy are you an NFL fan or have you been googling? If the former perhaps we should start an NFL thread in the general.

Can't take away from Crouch's performance yesterday...I'll resort to taking shots at him when he's in scouse rags...

I know this aint really accurate, but gotta love the look on their faces!

Now hopefully Mclaren can be a bit more ruthless and start dropping players when they're playing crap a la Becks Im not allowed to resort to personal attacks so i wont..... But thats the biggest load of shit ive read, only accurate things was the Lampard comment. So i'll start.... Hargreaves, did well up until Portugal where for the last hour he was phenominal, complete example, never gave up, nearly helped us score a few times and never let the portugese do much, gave 110% until the whistle went. Beckham s the only reason we got as far as we did, apart form joe coles goal played a part in pretty much all of them. Theres alot he does that doesnt get recognised and people slate him because he isnt as good as he was and he used to be one of the best midfielders ont he planet, give the guy a break he had so much passion, just watch him when he was off inujured in portugal match, he was like another manager. Joe cole was th eonly player who tried anything which England so desperatley need, which brings me to Lennon, he did OK??? OK?? For a 17 yr old, inexperienced in both cluba nd international football i tip my hat to the lad, hes younger than me (by like 7 months or summit) and most of you lot and he was the only one who took people on with confidence - GREAT prospect, he brought life into our game. Gerrard, OK he was average but hes hampered by Lampard, he didnt look his confident self, i want him to be captain, drop Lamps for Carrick, Gerrard will be supreme. Robbo, against Portugal was great, kept us in the game, played well all tournie, perhaps was at fault against sweden for their second goal but the defence should have got their first. The defence was avaerage, except against portugal, they didnt allow them anything untl closer to the end, when in the heat and 10 men you cant blame them, Ashley Cole carried on though, was still trying to make things and knock the ball forward, carried on running, didnt give up. Crocuh, proved me wrong....especially against Portugal, the guys shite in the air but he was ver good with te ball in that game, not world class but he did well. What you just said took away the best 120 mins our boys played and thats wrong cos they gave everything in that match against portugal, it took us the tournament to get going but i was so proud of them for that game! 2008 well be stronger, Lennon and rooney will be more experienced, hpefully with a different manager the tactics will be different, and Lampard will be dropped, not sure if Lennon will rpelace Becks just yet, but we need becks as he is always a danger at set pieces. theres my 2 pence woth, i dont care if you like it, but im proud to be an england supporter as i am a United one.
