My last word on the tie.

Even though I am disappointed, extremely drunk and slightly pessimistic about the second leg, I can't help feeling no matter what happens I am still pleased.

Pleased that i support LFC, with its glorious history and tradition.

Pleased I support LFC with players who don't cheat and dive.

Pleased I support a club that manages to entertain, surprise and enthrall every season.

...and most importantly of all

Pleased I support a club that didn't cost £300 million to assemble only to play long--ball hoofs up to their meat-head of a strriker. I know Drogba is extremely talented but to utilise him in that way is disgusting. Chelsea's brand of football is so dire to watch I can't help but have a tinge of symathy for their plastic support. I know I wouldn't be happy if Liverpool played like that. They must be the worst footballing side on the planet. With such an expensive squad they should be embarassed with how they play. Abramovich must be seething.

Anyway roll on the 30th. Surprise me again. We can still do this.
