www.manutd.com/en/Players-And-Staff/Reserves/Reserves-News/2012/Mar/warren-joyce-takes-manchester-united-squad-to-dallas-cup.aspxWarren Joyce feels the Dallas Cup will provide ideal experience for many of his young Reserves - both on and off the pitch. The Reds face FC Dallas on Sunday before taking on Club Sport Cartagnes the following day and Tigres on Wednesday. With the team riding high at the top of the Barclays Premier Reserve League table, the tournament provides more opportunities to impress for a number of last year's FA Youth Cup winners. "It'll be a difficult trip but it's a good little test for the boys," Joyce explained to ManUtd.com. "We play interesting games out there with different styles and obviously by going away, we'll be dealing with things similar to what the first team have to do, certainly in pre-season. There will be a lot of time travelling around and preparation and recovery after games will be vital to them and how they perform for the rest of the season." Speaking before announcing his travelling party, he added: "The squad will be a mix. Unfortunately the FA Youth Cup run is causing us a bit of a problem with the second leg date. We've got a nucleus of 10 or 11 Reserves regulars and we're looking to supplement that with some of the youth players but the success of that team might make it difficult for us."

United made it all the way to the final - beating Tigres 1-0 in the final group game thanks to a Larnell Cole strike, and beating Everton in the semi-final 2-0 thanks to Fornasier and Lingard goals.
Sadly the reds lost the final today 2-1 to Brazillian side Coritiba with United being reduced to 9 men in the second half. Michael Keane got Uniteds goal.

Michael Keane has come up leaps and bounds this season. Wouldn't be surprised to see the two Keanos lining up for some cup games for us next season.
