My take on this, as a club we are used to players being part of the family, us against them, seige mentality and all that. We stick together.
You listen to paddy and you can see he loves the club and all it stands for. I watched a interview with him a few years ago and he was talking about all the history but with real passion.
Then you see what goes on at other clubs and their mercanaries and think "Thank fuck that's not our club". All of a sudden we have a player who has questioned the very fabric of this great institution and it smarts big time,to us, the fans.
Hands on your hearts how many people on here think the majority of professional footballers really give a fuck about the teams they play for, just chase the dollar. Thats the difference with Manchester United. For most it means the world to pull on that red jersey.
The little boy inside tells you where to go,just ask Robin.

Instead of sort his future out (no matter what will be and i don't give a f**k about it) Rooney apparently was more busy (with a moody face too) to have fun at Glasto! I would gladly to show him the way off OT! Attachments:

Just to emphasise on tabloid bullshit - "Manchester United's management are considering a valuation for striker Wayne Rooney. The 27-year-old is expected to tell new manager David Moyes he still plans to leave the Premier League champions when they meet next week."
Just a few days ago reports were saying Rooney was going to ask Moyes to apologise and stay. Now tabloids doing a 180 and saying he plans to leave. A big f**k you to tabloids. Rubbish crock.

Ahah i couldn't agree more with you Al, a huge f**k off to the tabloids! every season United willing or not is on the press. According to them we are after at least 5/6 players despite nothing has really happened so far since Moyes won't take charge until Monday!

We're getting into the realms of the ridiculous if we're judging what he appeared to look like in a particular photo as it can be misleading, also he's gone to Glasto? So what. This is a case of looking for something which effectively isn't there. Moyes will sort it.

Is the fact that he has found the time to do anything except to sort his Utd future out. That shows how "he cares". As i already said tons of times before i wold glad to see him off rather to see him wearing a shirt next season he doesn't feel like his!

There's God knows how many Premiership players at Glasto, who don't have their futures sorted out.!! Rooney's happened to to have gone to a music festival- so what? He's perfectly entitled to do just that. There's no point reading something into it which quite clearly isn't there! David Moyes is officially the manager of Man Utd on Monday, he will sort it out don't worry about that. Rooney's happened to have look a bit glum in a photo at Glasto, he could look perfectly happy in others but they're not released. Automatic assumptions. Rooney enjoying at Saturday at Glasto is meaningless, that's not illegal last time i checked.

I think interest from other clubs have cooled down a bit concerning Rooney. I had hoped PSG would be out with a blank cheque but it seems a bit unrealistic at this point. As for Arsenal they're trying to get a deal for Higuain done. It's a real shame because this was our last chance to really cash in on him. Now I think he'll stay (unfortunately), I just hope Moyes doesn't bend over when it comes to crunch the numbers in a possible new contract!

The thing is you don't know that its the interest or just the fact the likes of The Sun have changed their view and focused on another player for now. Personally I don't think that PSG have actually declared interest, the media are like a dog with a bone with things when it concerned a big named player.

It end up like this...he will stay spending most of his time with an unhappy face, or he might leave at the very last minute - which i really hope at this point of the story- and the soap "Rooney" will end and everyone will moving on.

I think the tabloids and all source of media are starting to believe their own lies... one min he wants to leave, then wants an apology, then we are too offer him a new contract, then we want to value him.. Blah blah..... Such a saga over not alot.. Did anyone see this headline? made me laugh how much bullshit was in it. The headline is so mis-leading and half through the article they refer to talks with Moyes... Daily Mail
Roll on August.. start the season

With respect, talking about the fact that Rooney should be solely 'concentrating on his future' is unfair in my view. It's almost as if he's not entitled to do anything else during his life during the off season. If there's anybody who should be doing the majority of mulling over Rooney's future during the close season it's the players agent, that's what he's effectively paid to do. Also, you've posted a photo out of thin air of Rooney looking glum. As i alluded that means nothing, no point suggesting that it somehow does give a full indication of what Rooneys mind-set is at this moment in time. I'm as pissed as the next United fan regarding Rooneys second transfer request etc, but there's been some real nonsense bandied about Rooney over the past while- grossly unfair, from all quarters.

Rooney pays people a lot of money to decide his future for him.
