Big season indeed. Can't believe he's stalled so much. He's got all the ability in the world but needs to start putting the work in, shirkers will not be tolerated under Mourinho.

Januzaj is upset he has not been given a chance to prove himself by Mourinho after hiring a fitness coach to get in shape for the new season while on holiday this summer.
The 21-year-old is also unhappy that he was not consulted over United’s decision to give the No 11 shirt he inherited from Ryan Giggs to Anthony Martial.
Sources close to Januzaj have confirmed he feels ‘humiliated’ over the way he has been left out of United’s first-team plans.
He had set his sights on a move to Spain or Italy, but United believe he still has a future at the club and hope a season on loan at Sunderland will put his career back on track. Daily Mail
Have to agree with Januzaj here. After a player breaks through they need game. The need to be part of the first team. I f you ask me what Januzaj did in the Moyes' season was break through. Same way as Martial & Rashford did.

I f you ask me what Januzaj did in the Moyes' season was break through. Same way as Martial & Rashford did. He's humiliated is he the poor wee lad ? How about he tries humility for a change. He's done absolutely nothing in his embryonic football career. How about he listens to the criticism around him and tries to change himself rather than fucking complain all the time. The club gave him the 11 shirt and he treated it with a disgraceful attitude, and he now expects to be "consulted" about having it taken from him does he ? Forget the fitness coach, he needed an attitude adjustment , the self entitled prat. Totally fucked off with him. He can go back to Moyes. Also, Januzaj did nothing close to Martial and Rashford in his debut season. That's my opinion. Absolutely no comparison. After that season he thought he made it. Wilmots savaged him, Tuchel savaged him. He's becoming too big for his boots.

I don't know. We pride ourselves on bringing through young players but when one actually makes the giant step up we are quick to discard him. As soon as the lazy or attitude tags are mentioned they are stuck with them. He doesn't seem a big ego to me.

What more are you looking for as proof ? What you and I personally think is immaterial. Here's two coaches who both think he's a prat. That's all that matters. Also, that Moyes clusterfuck of a season wasn't a giant step. The team performances were pathetic. So pathetic, that when Januzaj scored 2 goals against Sunderland (SUNDERLAND!!) it was hailed as the second coming. That's not breakthrough. Rashford banging in 2 against Arse, 1 against City , 2 in the Champions League, 1 in his England debut. Thats breakthrough. Martial scoring 10 minutes into his debut against the scum, that's breakthrough. The lazy and attitude tags will come unstuck when you put your head down and let your work do the talking. Complaining about it gets you nothing.

I can't mentally let Adnan go yet. Send him out on loan this season to get his head right and prove he still has the ability he showed in the reserves and at times in his debut season.
If he can't make something of his loan move then it's time to move him on.

He couldn't be arsed to work himself to improve. I think he's too far gone. We tried holding on with Ravel, didn't work. When your head isn't on right, nothing will improve.

Everyone deserves a 2nd chance. He made all the right noises in pre-season in terms of working hard getting ready for the new season.
If we do just sell him, we need to make sure we put a buy-back clause in any deal because if he gets his head right there's huge potential there.

Second season syndrome is real. His loan to Dortmund was ridiculous. Even if he requested that you don't send him to a better team than he can't get into to fight for a place against Mikitayran. You send him on loan to Sunderland.
