It is/was on this poll which is what we're talking about. What he is probably saying is the fact that many are not voting for DDG due to the contract issue rather than his on-field performance

Not saying that it is wrong. Just echoing Aus's sentiments P.S. Remember we voted for Balotelli for Liverpool POTY. So. no problem

Yes I was just being a dick. I want De Gea to win it as I'm not in the mood to hate the guy. He's fucking brilliant.

I know there is a lot of Rooney bias on here but I have to say I think its a bit of a disgrace for anyone to name him our worst player this season. For a good chunk of games he was played out of position and the service for our strikers this year hasn't exactly been great ( something you all like to point out when Falcao was playing). Despite this he still ended up our top scorer and seem's to have the backing of his fellow players. Yes I agree he wasn't exactly world class but then again neither were any of our outfield players and some of our other big name players were a much bigger let down especially Di Maria and RVP. Player of the year- Young Young player of the year- McNair Most improved player- Smalling Best signing- Herrera Individual performance of the season- Mata vs Liverpool Team performance of the season- Vs Spurs at home. Razzies: Worst player of the year- Di Maria Most dis-improved player- RVP Worst signing- Di Maria Worst individual performance of the year- Di Maria vs Arsenal FA Cup. Worst team performance- Away loss to Everton. If De Gea doesn't win best player & Falcao doesn't win worst then it shows that this is all based around popularity. How come you didn't go for De Gea? I gave worst player to Di Maria because he was the biggest letdown. There was always question marks about how much of an impact Falcao would have but Di Maria was supposed to have an immediate impact especially after the season he had last year at Real. Not only did he massively under-perform but his commitment came under question. I gave Young player of the season because for me he was our biggest attacking threat especially in the last few months of the season, he kept us going in games where we had slowed down and he was one of our more exciting players to watch. I guess the fact he has done a complete 180 from last season plays into it as well.

It really says something, for how bad things are with the squad, when a goalie gets POTY twice in a row....
