Anyone else on here use Vaporizers/E-Ciggerettes, Personally I've been smoking for a measly few years but want to stop while I still can't do I've been cutting down using my E-Cig, Was interested to see what sort of following this has in this site.

I don't smoke but the old dear has done for over 40 years and she hasn't had a cigarette in over 3 weeks now. Saved a fortune aswell so far. Seems to do the trick as she smoked a fair amount as well.
Nasty habit, uch y fi.

I still haven't figured out what the hell vapourisers are supposed to be. So it's to cut down on cigarettes then?

I think its just another brain washing tool that actually makes no difference what so ever but thats me. One thing I do like about them however, the house smells a lot better lol.

Vaporizers are brilliant, though I'm not big on the tobacco stuff.

Never used one of these Vaping things but I have cut right down on the smoking bit, costs too much nowadays and me and the wife can sometimes go 3-4 days without a cig and if we buy any now it's just a pack of ten and sometimes twenty and split them (5 or 10 each). I like to roll my own tbh. That's a good way of not having a cig when you are drinking and have double vision. Paper and tobacco is nearly impossible for me and I end up with tobacco all over the floor or coffee table and screwed up papers everywhere lol. Fuck the Vaping and patches, good old willpower beats them anyday plus if we have our grandson's visiting smoking is taboo in here as they cannot stand the smell of tobacco. That's the way our son & daughter have bought them up. I can remember one time wee Connor was staying the night and I hid a pack of ten in a drawer. Could not find the fuckers after he left but then I did, all broken up and tossed in the pedal bin. Connor had found them and he told me later "They are no good for you granddad".

I quite possibly am wrong on that Funny, when these Vaping things come out you had people sitting in pubs, busses, walking around shops thinking they had sussed out the smoking ban. Then ZAP. You are not allowed them in the latter and all they can do now is walk around the streets with no smile on their faces. I heard also that they are just as bad as a cigarette and they smell? I would not buy them, I am just as well buying a £5 cigar and stick that in my mouth and smoke, inhale it and then choke to death.

I quite possibly am wrong on that You say that but all the tests that have been done have been positive, Also the government are sketchy on them because they can't tax them like they can do tobacco.

Limited evidence suggests e-cigarettes are safer than tobacco. Non-smokers who use them risk nicotine addiction. There is no evidence e-cigarettes are regularly used by those who have never smoked. E-cigarette use may delay or deter quitting smoking. E-cigarettes create vapor that consists of ultrafine particles. The vapor contains similar chemicals to the e-liquid, together with tiny amounts of toxicants and heavy metals. Exactly what comprises the vapor varies between and within manufacturers. E-cigarette vapor contains fewer toxic substances than cigarette smoke, and is probably less harmful to users and bystanders. No serious adverse effects from e-cigarettes have been reported in trials. Less serious adverse effects include throat and mouth inflammation, vomiting, nausea, and cough. The long-term effects of e-cigarette use are unknown. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_cigarette

They're good for non-smokers. I have asthma, but the vapor that comes out of an E-Cig doesn't trigger it like a regular cigarette. The bonus for the users is that they can smoke anywhere, there are no prohibitions so far
