3rd in the league.
Semi Final of the F.A. Cup.
Semi Final of the Champions League (somehow our risk-averse style might actually take us further in Europe than in England).
Our kids win us the Capital One Cup.

PL: 'Title Challenge' - be in the mix until at least March and end up in the CL places (3rd or higher really but 4th is ok if its a very tight 4-way title race). CL: Quarter Finals - First in group and last 8. Will amend to 2nd round if we get a very tough group draw and a very tough 2nd round draw FA Cup: Semis - A good cup run for the first time in ages please. Really I'd like to win it but that's a lot to ask. Capital One Cup - Quarters and give kids some gametime - I'm expecting gametime for Wilson and Perriera especially here. QFs not even that important but no early exit this time please. We're already further in it than last year... Stand by all of this. Our CL group is harder than it first appears but we should still be topping it, so QFs becomes the expectation (unless we get say PSG in the 2nd round).

Can you please give it a rest! There are one or two people on here who add absolutely nothing to discussion. Just constant misery. Everyone vents sometimes but they can also add well thoughout opininions or humour. I am entitled to my opinion like Everyone else. And that's how I feel. I don't see how we can challenge for anything with 19 first team players, and a goalkeeper who doesn't want be here? How can you be anything else but negative? I am worried about the current state of the club I love! It's actually very easy. Step One: Stop only looking at the negatives. Step Two: Focus on the positives. Step Three - this one is important: CHEER UP.

If you can put aside your stomach churning feelings about captain you know who, fuck it, I can do the same. Life's too short to be actually pissed off about transfers and football. This season is going to be a slightly different 'way' of watching United for me. I'll be looking for the signs for the future (Shaw, Darmian, Pereira, Lingard, Wilson, Martial, Memphis, etc.), realisation of potential (Mata, Herrera, Schneiderlin), celebration of greatness (Schweinsteiger and Carrick) and yes, even the swansong of De Gea and a test of his professionalism. And hell, who knows, the mad dutch bastard might actually win us something. He always wins something. Bring on the rest of the season.

Aim to win EVERYTHING. EVERY game. ALWAYS. The trophies will follow. As I said already this could still be a glorious season. Who knows what's in store. That's why we love the club. And the game.

Keep it up and you'll be entitled to take your opinion somewhere else.

I'm glad to see more positivity here. As easy as it is to catastrophise, I struggle to think we'd finish lower than 4th. Aside from an obvious 3, who takes that 4th spot? Granted in the thread on rating the transfer window I only voted good, not great ( I have lingering concerns about our striking options). I'd say third and either of the domestic cups would be satisfactory/realistic, plus a respectable shown in Europe,...quarter finals? I don't think our season will be nearly as bad as our first 4 league games might suggest.
