waiting for the moment stretford end rises its voice against rooney in a brutal and harsh way. booing him off the pitch, booing his every touch in the game, holding huge banners up showing him he is not welcomed here anymore. he should fucking walk away by himself due to so much harassment and hate towards him that he cant bear it any longer. i cant stand the thought that the guy will most likely become uniteds leading goalscorer of all time by the end of the season. He's that bad, it's still possible it won't happen true that, hopefully sir bobby stays up there

Or go back to 4-4-2 Dave Valencia - Bailly - Smalling - Shaw Mkhitaryan - Pogba - Herrera - Martial Ibrash Simple. I would love a return to 4-4-2. Ibra and Rash will complement each other well. Remove Smalling and put Blind in his place, and I think it's time we bring back good old 4-4-2.

Ibrahimovic Rooney Martial Carrick Pogba Mhkytarian Shaw Smalling Bailly Valencia de Gea -------------------------------------------- Rashford Ibrahimovic Martial Rooney Mhkytarian Carrick Shaw Smalling Bailly Valencia de Gea ------------------------------------------- I've put together 2 systems in 5 minutes, I'm sure Mourinho could do a hell lot better. Why would you put Rooney in both of them? Rooney is THE problem facing us right now.

I'd expect us to go back to 4231 for this one. The 433 was kind of what we all wanted to see and it blew up in our face. I think JM will address it this week at training, but expect to go back to conservative football (that worked) for this one. -----------------Dave Saves------------------- Darmo------Bailly--------Blind-----------Shaw --------Pogba----------Herrera--------------- Young--------------Mata---------------Martial ----------------Ibrahimovic-------------------- I know Rooney is going to start, but I don't feel like putting him in the lineup. 1-3 to United. Goals from Ibra (naturally), Martial, and Pogba. My lineup was better than Mourinho's. Among the many things I don't understand about this game is why Herrera was dropped. Of all players, he has shown up and IMMEDIATELY kicked our side into gear. I'm not a huge fan of Blind but even I had him starting. And I agree that Valencia is really fast but I'm playing Darmo ahead of him.

You could play the exact same video in most of his games. The gane for England against Iceland was very similar, then he came out and slated Woy and blamed the manager If Jose isn't careful he's going to be another manager on the dole while Rooney continues to steal a living.

He isn't going to drop Rooney altogether, might as well play him sporadically... his body is the equivalent of a 35-36 years old footballer considering how early he began playing senior football, playing 25-30 games a season might actually make him useful.

Poggles (TM) should be playing as part of 3 man midfield, as he did (brilliantly) at Juve. Jose must the team around him and not play Rooney for the sake of it-otherwise what's the fucking point of paying all that money for him? Let us now hope that Jose has seen enough of Rooney to realise this, and that he should not feature in any future teams, either in midfield, or at number 10, unless that is, we're playing Stalybridge Celtic, and then, only from the bench. He's a useless cunt who's time at the club is past. PS:I've had lots of beer and it still fucking hurts! PPS:And I'm bloody working in the morning-SHIT!

Yeah. As I mentioned a few pages back the media is one of the biggest problems with the Rooney situation. They were going through clips of Fellaini and Rooney's poor play (mostly Rooney) and Scholes decided to talk about how Fellaini doesn't do enough to be a Manchester United midfielder. No fucking mention of how bad Rooney was. It's fucking infuriating, especially when it comes from guys you respect. It's not that long ago Scholes was criticising Rooney, he seems to have joined all the other friends and family who will look elsewhere for someone to blame. I've lost a lot of respect for some of our former players who refuse to call him out for his shit contributions.

Shove that one right up ur arse man. Jose is in the door 5 minutes and to even suggest something as thick as that is beyond a joke.

Our width comes from our full backs. They are both marauders. So we should be deploying a CDM who can cover their absence on the counter. Blind or Carrick in front of our CBs would also unlock Pogba and even (sigh) Fellaini. Instead they keep getting caught out position as they are asked to join attacks.
But until we sack Rooney this won't happen. Rooney was a passenger today against bloody Watford. He also was off during the week.
Im sick of the shoehorn tactic. We effectively started the game with 3 number 10s and 3 number 9s. So much for Jose and his "specialists"

The Fellani, Pogba, Rooney axis is a disaster. Pogba and Fellani aren't playing too badly as individuals but defensively we are being got at far too easily. All three players are inclined to go forward. Not one has the natural instinct to sit, like Carrick or Schnederlin or to a lesser extent, Herrera. This is is the one thing I can't understand about Mourinho, he has always had a sitting midfielder.
