Perhaps he should play the closest thing possible to actually scoring goals. We might win more games instead of lamenting missed chance after missed chance. If your preferred players in your preferred style of play results in a zero goal difference after 11 matches, maybe you should try different players. I know though, 'Ronaldo FC'.  Ahem, he does  He can't play Martial while the guy is injured. Buth he dropped a few of the folks stinking the place out, getting beat 4-0 by Brentford and now the team is much better at scoring goals. We’ve scored 16 goals in the PL so far. |

Best way to learn, innit? Have a day off, we all want the glory days back, the Glazers gone etc. Having a day off has left us where we are now. False positivity, being told to get behind the team, not questioning the players, methods , manager. Elite teams don’t sit around with blind acceptance. That’s why the Glazers continue to get away with it. This isn't blind acceptance either. It's seeing potential light at the end of what's been a long, dark tunnel. Ten Hag can only do so much in such a short space of time. Yes he's made mistakes but it's expected so soon into the job especially with the dross from last season and we're a good way off that dross from last season. It's how you learn from those mistakes that matter, which he is learning. As its been said by someone on another post this negative outlook is just becoming boring now. |

We’ve scored 16 goals in the PL so far. do you wanna see elanga instead? sancho as a striker? i mean its quite obvious that we dont really have a lot of alternatives. we dont score enough goals but we also dont have many options until we can get someone like gakpo or osimhen. considering that we've played all the "big" teams in the league so far, we havent done bad at all, also compared to where this team was when the season ended. but we need to convert those chances now against the weaker sides coming up. |

It’s worth remembering ETH decided to spend 100m euros on Antony when he knew Ronaldo wanted to leave and Martial has injury problems last season which seem to be recurring and Rashford has never looked particularly convincing as a CF.
He has got a lot right and we are looking more like a team than we ever did under Ole and playing sone good football. But lack of goals could cost us top 4 especially now Varane is out for some time and our defence will start leaking more goals.
And that will make recruiting the four to five more players we need to get us challenging for trophies a lot more difficult.

Lets change Manchester United to Ronaldo FC while we are at it.
I dont get this blind devotion to Ronaldo, its clear he is at the very end of his career, he needs to accept it and so do you by the sounds of it. The sooner he leaves the better and we can be done with this silly distractions for ETH.
We are playing good football after a bloody long time, let's try to enjoy it.
That by the way doesnt let the Glazers off the hook, we can play well and still want the Glazers out, there is no correlation there.

Just saying this as I see it, Ronaldo is Ronaldo but he doesn't fit how ETH wants us to play, Ronaldo also isn't Ronaldo from 10 years ago, he's a great player still but he's finished at the absolute top table, his age has caught up with him, we as a team are better with out him the way we want to play, but we also need a striker who suits that to improve us, Ronaldo isnt that player.its finished for him and we all need to accept that.
