great stuff, cheers scott, you're a star!  we've got an article board again, so please don't forget to post your gems on there as well! red yank - we're all good ones, mate...  have you been on united rant and, if so, who were you? i have a feeling it's gonna be permanent this one, cos it's something we've been expecting for a while, but just not this suddenly. the editor hasn't been seen for quite some time and the license on the website was due to run out at some point in the none-too-distant future, hence the fact that a back-up board was actually created in the first place (fortunately!). i can only presume that the editor has simply scrapped the site, cos the license shouldn't have run out yet i don't think. it's a shame, it's the end of an era... a few ranters appear to have made a note of the new site and are on there, so we're just trying to get in touch with as many of the others as possible to let them know we're on the new site now. but, yeah, i guess you may get a few more heads in here now too. |

I can't say it's a great loss, the place had become infantile. Less bothered about united and more a place for people to talk shit.

I generally try to have a look at most forums/message boards in relation to other MUFC fans opinions, and i have come across United Rant now and again. I did think the forum was arrogant, intimidating, a policy among more senior members on there to isolate and ignore other posters. You're 100 per-cent correct, there's more waffle on there relating to the ridiculous, not a lot of United talk, and a lot of profanities. Not my cup of tea. |
