''FULL SPEED AHEAD BARCELONA''.... that piece of commentary literally made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
Two inspired signings by Fergie who's heroics that season were overshadowed by the S.A.S. double-act in the Nou Camp on the 26th May 1999.
I have to say ITV's commentary during United's 1999 winning season in the Champions League was absolutely legendary. The clips I remember are:
''Full speed ahead Barcelona'' - vs. Juvé
''Oh, he's gonna miss the final, Roy Keane is gonna miss the final'' - vs. Juvé
''Can United score they always score?, the big goalies coming up!''
''Is this their moment?
Beckham into Sheringham and Solskjaer has won it!''
And then Fergie's very own - ''Football, BloodyHell!''
THEY WILL STAY WITH ME FOREVER!
