As a Manchester United fan I was absolutely distraught when Beckham left United. I had the same feeling when Cantona left, when Keano left and if Ruud left this summer I'd probably feel the same again.
The guy's a legend and I really thought he, along with the rest of the 'Class of '92' would finish his career at Old Trafford. He always wanted to but unfortunately things never worked out. I'm not going to go into any details about that because in all honesty nobody knows the full details. Hopefully, we will see him on the hallowed turf at Old Trafford again so Manchester United fans get a proper chance to say Goodbye and Thank You, a dream scenario would be him in a red shirt but it is more likely will be in the white of Madrid.
This video is of him in his time at Manchester United, before Madrid came a long. It's a shame the English press don't appreciate him as a player only as an icon because believe me after Wayne Rooney he is England's most important player and worthy captain.

Perfect for Ruud wasn't he Yeah, I think Ruud suffered a bit with the lack of quality crosses since Becks left  Would laugh to see him come back for a season or two though, just to see how Fergy treats him ;D |

if becks came back, I'd be a wreck. I'd be bawling my eyes out. i just think that he'll never come back so that i dont get my hopes up. he said he wants to stay at Real so thats what he's probably going to do

Why on earth we sold him, god only knows.... well him and SAF, close enough either way.
