Smith proved he has what it takes to play in midfield, and Fletcher proved that he can be potentially can play a major part in United's future. I've always liked the lad but it seems that the fans put unwarranted blame and pressure on the kid, with the fans on his side he's shown what he can do. He as well as Smudge was immense that night.

well he may not be the strongest player on the squad but he scored the winner against the rent boys and that alone warrants a thumbs up from me...at least for last sesaon..lol

I reckon we only saw him play well, when he was positioned in a slightly mroe attacking role, he certainly aint one for the wings, nor is he one for the DM position.
His performances for Scotland are, I;ve heard superb,, but I remain unsure as to what position he plays for them.
