its just 3 decent things he's ever done repeated 10 times each, there wouldnt be enough footage to fill even 3 mins otherwise, do you think that the player west brom want as part of the keeper deal is fletcher, go on robbo do us a favour

I rate him highly and believe he can become a big part of United's present and future. Yes, atm he hasn't shown enough to be considered first XI material but he has shown me his is passionate about United, willing to fill in anywhere and players like him are good to have in the squad. Maybe, if some of the fans got off the kids' back and supported him we'd get a lot more out of him!

Get behind him, get behind the team. Over the past few years there has been too many negatives from our own fans. Yes, times are different and we're not winning the league every season but we're building a team which is and will become even more so capable to do it. Players like Fletcher, Ronaldo & O'Shea who are usually the main targets for abuse from United fans should be supported and recieve the full backing from us, the fans, their fans.

I understand you wanting to get behind the players but when I see a player like fletcher who IMO is nowhere near good enough to play for united it frustrates me, I'm all for giving players a chance to prove they're good enough but i believe Fletcher has been given that chance, maybe more so than other players that are equally deserving, and he hasn't in any way convinced me he is or will ever be good enough to play for united and to be brutally honest I find it embarrasing when I see fletcher in our starting eleven.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on a minute Dr Phil. We know who we think are good players or not. No amount of psychology will change the fact that I think Fletcher is crap. So he’s the best player for Scotland (isn’t hard) and no offense to any Scottish people here, and so he tries his hardest, he just isn’t good enough for us, especially our first eleven. Give credit were credit is due, but this boy doesn’t deserve any. Times change, football has moved on, Chelsea have stepped it up a level and given a whole new meaning to the word football, and for us to have any change of realistically challenging them, we can’t afford to have players like Darren Fletcher in our team. I don’t often feel so strongly on something enough, that I feel I have to voice an opinion. But as far as I’m concerned, he just isn’t good enough. |

Sorry pal I'm just not convinced the guy has got the quality to play for united, if he proves me wrong I'll hold my hands up, but I doubt he will.
