This is something that was done over a year ago following our exit of the champions league to benfica... People just don't want to learn anything about United and Fergie

Had this been a Milan or Inter or Barca or Real or Juve...the manager would have been sacked the next day. Shows that despite all their claims of being the better league in style of play, Italian and Spanish teams lack patience at the top and any diabolical result means firing the poor manager.
Ferguson...you bloody fighter !!!

Just shows how great Fergie really is, it wasn't looking good after going out of the Champions League but my god has he turned it around and in doing so proved many many people wrong. Write off Fergie are your peril.

i remember this...it wasnt a good year...we still won a trophy last year and i people who criticized united and fergie where stupid, was i the only one thinking that year that the next season we will win the treble, i honestly thought before this season started that we where going to win the treble again...but unfortunately that dream ended 2 weeks ago...
but all the taunts all the teasing and saying united are shit from people, i knew this season could be our season, why, because of us being one of the most underestimated big club starting this season with all the rift up between rooney and ronaldo and the signing of carrick seeming to be shit, i still had a feeling that this could be a year of glory again...
finally it happened, we won the league, last year i was crying, this year i am cheering...

even through all the disappointment and heartbreak last year, i never for a moment thought that fergie would be asked to leave, nor did i want him to leave. he's a legend and one of the best things to ever happen to this club...people should salute him, not slag him off. Very very happy that he proved his critics wrong this season. next season, he'll try and do even better.

Last Year wasnt the hardest for me as a Utd fan, that came in the 97/98 Season, when Arsenal slowly but surely tugged away at our 12 Point lead, and won the title and we were eliminated from the CL by Monaco... Fuck that was heartbreaking and it came after King Eric had left... Jesus i was down in the dumps!!! Thankfully the following seaason deemed that season meaningless!

I think that's right up there with the 94-95 season.. Cantona getting suspended, and us losing the league and fa.cup final in the same season.. not to mention getting trounced in the champions league.. that, with the 97-98, were probably the hardest... 2001-02 wasn't too good either !

in my opinion it was one of the best things that ever happened to the team. This season is proof of it. It was the making of this team and theres nothing like crimpling dissapointment to inspire players and staff to prove em wrong.
