--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brazilian whiz Anderson is thrilled to be joining Manchester United. Anderson is moving to United from Porto and declared: "I cannot wait to play in the same team as Cristiano Ronaldo, who is a great player, as well as Wayne Rooney and many more.
"I could not imagine I would ever get to work with a manager like Sir Alex Ferguson but it has happened.
"What can I say? It is a dream the size of the world."
The ex-Gremio and Porto star also revealed that he has always wanted to play for Premiership champions United.
Anderson added: "Gremio was my first club and then I moved to Porto.
"Both teams have a great place in my heart, for which I have the biggest affection.
"They were very important in my life and professional growth.
"But ever since I was a boy, I always wanted to play for Manchester United and now that dream has come true. I am very happy."
Despite signing for a bumper fee, Anderson is keen to prove his worth.
The £17 million man said: "When I arrive in Manchester I will carry on working just as hard as I have at Porto, if not even more.

I would disagree with that. Would Gascoigne have gone wayward if he had come to us? I doubt it. Fergie would have sorted him out. Would Cantona become as good as he was if he hadn't come to us? Again, I doubt it.

Again, I doubt it. Saying that some players are just never more than potential and a glimpse of what could come but never does, alot of players are the 'next' ronaldinho. Still great signings and lets see how they fare, wouldnt expect too much in first season though

I just want Anderson to be just Anderson - like Kaka is now Kaka. Nothing more nothing less.
Rather I want Anderson to be BETTER than both Ronaldinho and Kaka if need be ;D

Rather I want Anderson to be BETTER than both Ronaldinho and Kaka if need be ;D anderson after he has adapted english football and united's style of play he will go from strength to strength then i mean from being a wonderboy to being as good as ronaldinho and kaka, then as good as both of them put together then he will become anderson ,
