This one always slays me because we know a few years later "confident" becomes one of Ronnie's favourite words - right up there with 'appy.
But, for the linguistically equally amused, I'll throw in a little extra on why Ronaldo looked quite so fazed by the question. confidência in Portuguese is the basis for phrases that are like the English word "confidential" or " in confidence"
In Spanish (which our #7 also speaks) it sounds like "confidencia" which means "secret."
So for an Iberian learning English (and vice versa) - it's one of those words that really throws your balance.
Here endeth the useless Spanish/Portuguese lesson...

yeah i love this interview as well. our players have a team spirit that is so amazing. and im really impressed at how much ronaldo's english has improved. and his looks as well. lol. this vid will always make me laugh no matter how many times i watch it.
