Phil Taylor retained his Premier League crown with another stunning performance to defeat surprise finalist Roland Scholten 16-6 in Plymouth.
Taylor was slow out of the blocks, missing some doubles and the Dutchman was level after six legs following a superb 156 checkout.
But the 13-time world champion than ran away with the match, winning four straight legs to move 11-4 ahead before a 142 finish - going treble 20, bull, double 16 - put him 13-5 ahead and within three legs of a second title in a week.
Scholten rallied but Taylor finished him off with a double top finish to extend his two-year unbeaten run in the tournament. ------------------------------ Phil's the Daddy!
Any darts fan in the house shout ‘’Ohhhhhh’’ . . . – tumble weed – ha ha. I’m not the biggest darts fan; I refuse to sit down and watch it on the TV, although I don’t mind playing after a few beers, although snooker/pool is my speciality.

I've never been a big fan of watching darts or snooker/pool because I sit and watch it for a frame and get fucking bored!....but I do love playing them, especially drunk!

Not really into it but watched it last year when a geezer I know did well in it Daryl Fitton ended up playing Barneveld in the latter stages but got beat.
