Red Legend, if Munich hadn't happened we would have probably got another European Trophy.

I honestly feel my mind go crazy whenever I think of what the Busby Babes could have acheived in England and Europe had it not been for the Munich air-disaster. This was a team that had youth on their side and could have dominated club football as we know it, hell the Real Madrid of Puskas, Gento, Di Stefano, Kopa would have been tested to their max by the Manchester United team that perished before it could acheive that One English reporter said that England would have never seen Bobby Moore had Duncan Edwards been alive and kept on playing. He could have become a player like Welsh legend John Charles - who could play as centre-half or centre-forward at ease - perhaps even better to be remembered as one of the legends of the game. We will never forget those heroes.

such a sad loss.. evrybody that talks about him said he was one of the greatest players they had seen and he would have achieved so much in the game.. I hope we win the champions league this year in memory of the munich disaster.. it would be a fitting tribute 50 years on..
