Why does Joe Cole always try the fuckin' spectacular?...why not just give and go?...why does he shoot when there's a man standing on his fuckin toes?...he's a good player but he needs to learn when to shoot and when to fuckin' pass..and I know someone said this earlier...!

Yeah I said it and spot on. Chelsea player or not, he’s a good player, although he does the stupidest of things at times. Greed springs to mind.

David Beckham was the highlight with his 2 assists and excellent all round distribution. Robinson made one fantastic save, and wasn't to blame for the goal.
Walcott breaks Rooney's record as youngest England international.
Crouch scores again!
J.Cole has made the left-midfield slot his own, but he needs to be consistent with his decision making on the ball.
Ferdinand & Terry never broke sweat and for me are the best central defensive partnership in the world.
Gerrard looked comfortable in his new role.
Negative points: Neville with a slight hamstring 'twinge' and Owen's fitness, he needs 90mins vs. Jamaica on Saturday &
Hargreaves looked a little shakey when brought on, constantly giving the ball away, not England material for me.

Neville is fine, it’s been cleared up. They took him off as a precaution. Owen does need 90 minutes as he didn’t look alive in that game. England need to be awake and sharp against Jamaica, they’ll run all day at us. Although we won quite comfortably, it wasn’t the best of games for us, School boy football mostly throughout and it took the second half to wake us up. Man of the match for me was Beckham as he never stopped running, passing and had two assists to his name. Although he miss controlled a few times, he shone more than anyone else.

Yeah, hopefully Beckham has a good World Cup because I'm sure he is, as I am, getting pissed off with all these doubters of his abilities.
The 'School Boy football' is to be expected though, it's the first team they have played together in a while and it showed in the first half. In the second half they seemed to click when it mattered, there is a lot of improvements to be made before Germany though!
