Well.... to be fair... Crouch did a good job tonight.. (it's sticks in my f00kin craw to say it,) he played some nice layoff's, scored a good goal... As for the rest... Becks....Top quality crossing/passing as usual.. Owen.... was he there? Stevie G.... only redeeming factor in his diving exhibition tonight was the goal he scored. Fwank... totally out of his depth Hargreaves... Same as Fwank Cole.J.... Good performance...hope he can maintain it Cole.A...Fair/Good performance.... seems to have lost pace though.... Terry...Good and solid... Rio... made it all look too easy Nev...Mr Evergreen Carragher.... not convinced... did ok though Robinson... Jury's out on that.... not sure he's good enough...but to be fair, the Hungary goal was pretty well unstopable.... Walcott....didn't really get into the game....looks f00kin quick tho.. Anyway... sorry for blaspheming regarding Crouch, but I just feel I have to give credit where it's due.... Bottom line...... WE NEED ROONEY.... Any opinions? (Don't shout at me about the Crouch comment.. I'm dead sensitive, me ;D)

Crouch did well, he does have a good few touches and did a better job than Owen. If england are going to play with 1 man up front i'd rather it be him just because he can hold the ball up a lot better than owen.

Was sickened by Ian Wright's comments of "It's going to happen to us, so why cant we do it to other people?". Has he been talking to Drogba or something? Cheating should NOT be a part of the game, and I spotted two blatent dives by Gerrard in that game. Disgraceful
Shocking penalty from Lampard. I was expecting him to bury it. Ian Wright chips in "Better to miss them when it doesnt matter". No, whats better is for our penalty takers to take unsavable penalties. Lampard is capable of perfectly placing it in the roof of the net... and he needs the practice at not bottling it.
Becks was superb. He was the only player I could give lots of praise to I think. Joe Cole, as good at going forward and taking on players as he was, just seemed to have no inspiration, no vision. He'd take them all on, and then just hit it at a defender. Obviously, by far the best option, and the left wing is not a problem position for England anymore... but he needs to book up his ideas a bit.
Lampard and Gerrard got in each others way on more than one occassion. Sven is just a prick. He needs to stop fucking with the team. Tough shit if Gerrard doesnt want to play defensive midfielder...thats where he has to play. And if he doesnt do it well, then someone else should be given the job. Like Carrick. Not sodding Carragher!

Scott, I agree with you there. If Becks missed the penalty imagine the headlines tomorrow. They'd be calling for his head; drop him, release him of the captaincy!...and so on. It's bullshit really, Fat Frank & Chelsea seem to get over-rated or allowed to do things wrong!

I agree with the bit about Ian Wright...I can't watch the summaries anymore they make me cringe. Glad ITV will be showing a few of the england and other important games tbh. I think the system worked tonight, but they are still no nearer to working out who is best for the holding position because carrick never got tested.
I think Walcott isn't mentally or physically ready for it either hes shy and doesn't want to get too involved, if he was a 5th striker fine, but with 1 cripple and 1 injury prone pansy whos just come back we need a better back up.

England Can never take much from a friendly win lose or draw but Funniest thing I ever saw was the Hungarian kid mascot that Owen had to walk onto the pitch with He was bigger than Owen IM NOT LYING. Usually the kid stands in front of the player when the pleasantries are introduced but because he was so tall he had to stand next to Owen and one of the old fudders from Hungary must have thought he was a player and shook thekids hand LMFAO Firstly Id like to say Carrick IMO should have played instead of Carragher, it's fucking Hungary for Christ sake, admittidly Id say Carragher was more defensive minded, could do what Gattuso does for Milan and clatter into people but distribution is NIL (Joey Barton) springs to mind. Thought Gary Neville had a mare, alright defensively but going forward he was terrible against poor opposition, pretty much the same as Ashley Cole, without Rooney and against shite they both should have been flying down the flanks especially with the reassurance of the Holding MD who can sit in for them. (Read earlier Nev was brought of cos possibly injured?) Lamps n Cole looked Jaded, tired not sure but not a performance you come to expect from them two, Terry n Ferdinand were fine. Owen Hargreaves can suck my And what happens if we get a penalty now in the World Cup, Becks has had problems so has Owen, Gerrard n now fat frank Crouch - Good goal, thats all he's gettin from me Looking at a draw out of Paraguay, beat Trinidad and possibly Sweden. Need Rooney for the latter stages or give it up now

Looking for a draw vs. Paraguay?!...WTF?! They just drew with Norway 2-2 and were losing for part of that game, if England are being tipped as one of the favourites, we should be looking to beat Paraguay and that we will do!

Not looking for the draw I obviously want us to win the first game, but I tell you what, without Rooney we ain't half the team were capable of being and with teams like Paraguay putting 11 men behind the ball we will struggle. Wasn't Paraguay n Norway a friendly? I don't take much notice of friendly results to be honest Looking for a draw vs. Paraguay?!...WTF?! They just drew with Norway 2-2 and were losing for part of that game, if England are being tipped as one of the favourites, we should be looking to beat Paraguay and that we will do!

England will beat Paraguay, T&T and maybe rest a few players and draw with Sveeeden! In the first half Hungary made it hard for us, and it never looked as if we would break 'em down but we showed patience in our play and kept going at it unil eventually we broke through, that's what will happen if ParaGAYs defend for their lives against us!
